The chicken is great, but the staff needs help understanding the order, they are very polite but need repetition of instructions. The parking lot is good and the place is clean inside. The drive up speaker system is a possible problem with the misunderstanding? read more

I drove 20 miles bc we live in Anacoco to get Popeyes chicken. I looked up their menu on Leesville location. I walked in and order two signature four pieces. The attendant said $19.00. I showed him the Popeyes menu that was listed on Leesville. It was $6.29 each. He told me he couldn't honor the price. so I left without chicken. After I got home is when I got upset. I looked on Popeyes app and I could have gotten 3 pieces for $5. If the clerk had told me another option for 4 pieces for close to $10 I would have taken the $5 three pieces special. I'm 71 and don't eat out often. ALSO HE HAD THIS SMART ASS ATTITUDE. read more

Did a $84 order on Sat 6/13 Went and picked up, they were super busy. Took a chance on not checking the food and got home and most ALL my order was wrong and what I did get looked like it had been cooked for 12 hours and just sitting under a light. Ordered because I was having guest, was so embarrassed, didn't have food to serve..Tried to call the store about 8 times and no answer. Tried to call next day, no answer. Went online and tried to get help through customer service. Noone replied to me till Tuesday telling me they need a picture. You want a picture of chicken I bought 4 days ago and already thru in the trash? Maybe if you had responded to my emails you would have gotten a picture! I live in Leesville, La. this store has a review of 68% on facebook, a 1.5 on Yelp, a 2.5 on seamless, and a 3.6 on google...I can see why! Will not go back here ever again. read more

Everyone knows Popeyes is known for slow service - across the board. But damn "slow" isn't the word for this Popeyes. As always the food is good for fast food, but waiting 20-30 minutes for an order in drive through is insane! read more

My order was entirely wrong. The lady made me repeat it 3 times just for me to get my food back in correctly. Ordered all dark meat got white meat. Got mashed potatoes and red beans and rice. Didn't receive my mashed potatoes. Work 13 damn hours and just wanted a quick dinner before heading home and they couldn't get a single thing right. read more

I went to order food, my biscuit was hard. I took it back to the register to let the kitchen , bald head guy with green shirt on had so much smart remarks to say about it. Thanks but I want be back, it's not the friendliest or cleanest restaurant in the area Poor customer service read more

they are very nice and very welcoming people. they love making small talk and have a good environment. great service and love making small talk with you. read more

I have gone to this Popeyes less than a handful of times and the services are not great. My order was constantly missing an item. In the drive thru the screen to look at the menu and I can barely see the items on the screen. The wait time to get your order is ridiculously long. This place can have potential to be better if the little things can improve. read more

I went to the drive through and my soda was watered down I parked the car to go and fill up my soda from the inside. I explained to the worker what I was doing and he said no you already left you can't get a refill . I said I never left I went to the drive through and came in because my soda was watered down. The worker gave me a bad look and said wait. I waited for him which was a couple of minutes he came back and said go ahead . I guess he went to go ask management. Anyway I thanked him and he did not respond back just gave me an angry look. I worked in food service for over 20 years this is really the kind of encounters that makes a person not want to go back to a place where you are treated like this. Either train your staff or replace them read more

This happens to often in small town like Leesville ! If i can leave ZERO stars i would ! due to a manager named KIRA MOORE. I came to Leesville today visiting my sister, wanted to grab some food before we headed home after an outing. Stopped here and ordered a 16 piece family meal which comes with 3 sides; which i ordered 2 mashed potatoes & 1 Mac and cheese, also ordered a extra side which was a large red beans and rice. (Totaling $60). When my order was ready i grabbed it and walked straight to the car, upon checking my bag I realized it was only three sides and one was missing which was the mac and cheese, going back into the restaurant with my receipt I told a employee what I was missing (which she remembered) she then went and tried to get it but KIRA MORE (who had an attitude) told her to tell me "she need to see the bag". Came back in with the bag and she falsely stated it was two bags with sides in it . She then accused me of HIDING the bag in my car ?! Which I then implied them to check the car ! (Didn't want to check) She continued to try and make it seem like we were upset about the mac and cheese when it was THE PRINCIPLE. We paid our money and want what we ordered ! After her not giving our mac and cheese we asked for a refund which she continuously denied ! So we decided to call corporate and come back in the morning. While I was walking out she then laughed and said "that's why I ain't put it in the bag" . For this to be happening to a black female in 2024 is insane ! Leesville DO BETTER ! She's truly a disgusting human being, has awful customer service! read more

If I could leave no stars I would. Kira Moore who apparently is the manager refused to give me a refund on a 58 dollar purchase, that was immediately brought back because the order was missing an item, an item she implied I was hiding in my car in a attempt to get a free one. Which was not the case I just wanted what I paid for. It is sad that she works in customer service because she is a very rude and condescending woman. read more

THE WORST customer service at this place. Literally takes 15 mins per customer to get their order. The employees do not give a crap about the customers or the food whatsoever. It's an everyday thing, every shift thing! Ordering online does not make a difference either. read more

Food was good, service was horrible because the lady at the window feels like she is rushing you and won't take coupons unless you tell them when you order. Aleah is the only reason this Popeyes is getting 3 stars. She helped with a communication error and made things right. read more

Worst fast food place I've been to. Service/customer hospitality was awful. Got my food and they were refusing to give my brother his other sandwich, all sandwiches had very small and flat chicken. Can't believe I wasted my money here. Do better Popeyes read more

How come there's Popeyes never seems to get it right the chickens either Kohl's or the breading literally falls off the biscuits you need a gallon of that tea to drink in order to eat them biscuits the gravy and potatoes however a good 90% of the time same with the fries but this is not a good Popeyes might as well just drive to KFC read more

It takes 20 mins or more to get through the drive through. They never get the order right. I was handed a bag of food, then I asked for more BBQ sauce. 10 mins later they hand me another bag of food realizing the first bag was the wrong order. I finally get what was supposed to be my order with 4 things of BBQ sauce only to get home to realize I ordered white meat and got dark meat, mild instead of spicy, and dripping with grease. I couldn't eat it with all the grease! Everyone I speak too has the same experience with this particular store. Might want to pass this one up until the owner can get the proper management and try Colonel. read more

So, all I wanted was some chicken strips. I was at the drive thru, sitting in the rain. Keep in mind, there were no other customers inside or out. With nothing else occupying her time, the girl asked me to wait. In the rain. With my window down. For five minutes. So, I'm soaked when she finally came back, and I ask for three chicken tenders, coleslaw, and a bottle of water. "We don't HAVE no bottles of water!" she barks. I say, anything without caffeine will do. "So, Coca Cola??" No, whatever you have without caffeine. "What you WANT??!" Sprite, please. "What??" I want three chicken tenders (not spicy), a small sprite, and a coleslaw with honey mustard dipping sauce. "Hang on a second. You want spicy chicken? White or dark?" No! "Sir, I can't help you if you don't speak up!" Never mind. Thanks. "Whatever!" I went next door to Pizza Hut. Only, like, eight restaurants in town. Avoiding this one from now on! read more

After going through drive thru & being told to park in front & wait for my order (4 others waiting in front of me--waited for 25 minutes & went inside. Manager has the nerve to laugh in my face & tell me it wasn't her fault the workers gave my order to someone else. Then made me wait another 5 minutes for my order while people behind me received their orders. Popeyes in Leesville, La needs to take a page out of Starbucks book & do some personnel retraining!!! I'm so glad KFC is coming to Leesville. I won't be spending my hard earned $$$ in rude managers salary. No wonder the Military complains about Leesville & goes out of town. No one should be treated that way. read more

They are always rude and act like you are bothering them when you come to give them business. Then you wait forever to get your food.

This place is awful they had no chicken ready you're a chicken place how can you have not have any chicken ready so we decided to get shrimp because it was only A 5 minute wait then we had to argue with the workers to get our sides and the soda was flat what else could possibly go wrong and then the next day I tried to call the manager it was the same one that was there that night and she told me yeah I know I was there it was her I was arguing with over one of my wife sides thats just rediculous the place deserve zero Stars read more

Terrible. Can't get any order right ever and the employee was disrespectful and impatient when she was making mistakes taking my order in the drive through. I had them read me back what I ordered 3 times before they "got it right" then when they brought the food out it was still wrong. Save yourself the headache and never eat here. read more

We visited this location today...the food was hot and fresh (during a busy lunch hour). The service was less than desirable, not friendly at all. I went to ask for fresh biscuits (burnt bottoms) and one of the cooks rolled his eyes (right in front of me)because he is professional like that. Not impressed. read more

Only giving two stars because the good is great. But the wait is ridiculous. It takes the drive thru speaker 10 min just to come to the mic and take your order! Not sure what the staff is doing in there but it isn't cooking chicken, otherwise there'd be some ready when you ordered. read more

This is the absolute WORST Popeyes I have ever been too. The last time I went there I had to wait 45 minutes to get my food! After I received my order all I was offered for the wait was a free side. If you really want Popeyes, I would make the 20 mile drive to Derrider rather than go to the one in Leesville again. Most of the restaurants here have terrible service, but this one takes the cake. read more
