I went to the drive through of this Popeyes Kitchen chicken . The phone app has special deals like $6 for 3 pc of chicken . I chose two legs and one thigh ( all dark meats ) and I used my points to get a side ( beans & rice ) . I spend $6 for lunch which is a pretty good deal . This location has good fried chicken , while the location in Fremomt hub the chicken was (deep fried )too old and dried . I use the phone app to order in advance and pick a pick up time. I can enter all the specific way I like my order to be done and no misunderstanding with the staffs at drive through. I like to use the phone app cause I get to pay with a one line deal prices . It also keeps track of my purchases and gives me points for free food . The staffs at this drive through are nice but they put the wrong items in my bags sometimes . Some double check my order before I drive away. Good food , good price . The chicken are marinated in ways different than KFC and Korean fried chicken . I placed an on-line order at 1:00pm on a Friday afternoon. It was for a three-piece meal and a soft drink using points from my Popeye's account. We arrived at about 1:05 and got into the drive-thru lane for pick-up. There was one vehicle in front of us, and it appeared that the driver was waiting to have his order taken. We decided to get out of the drive-thru lane and walk in instead. Alas, that didn't really help. She walked into the dining room at 1:07. There were two customers waiting to place their orders and two customers standing in front of the "Pick-up/Mobile Order" line. The cashier told those two guests that she would call their name when their order was ready. This allowed my wife to step up to the counter. When the cashier finished with the customer that she was waiting on, she waited on my wife and handed her our order. My wife filled the drink cup from the fountain and returned to the car at 1:15. There was one person working the counter and three employees working in the back. They could have used one more employee who could float and work both front and back of the house. The front parking lot was full when we arrived. Some cars left and others immediately pulled in. Several cars also pulled into the back lot while we waited for our order. The food itself was very good with the exception of the Cole Slaw. There was nothing wrong with the way that the Cole Slaw was made but I will always complain that cold foods should not be placed in the same container as hot food. read more

First, their fried chicken in the sandwich and tenders form is the best I have had, especially the spicy variety. Crisp coating, tasty moist meat and good condiments. I always take out so I get to see the inside. They still have a self serve soda bar which is good because I mix the sodas. The red beans and rice are unique and good as well. They aren't cheap, but it is worth it. The inside could use some refreshing. It looks kind of dirty and dark and often the counter is wet with something from somebody else's order. One of the walls has jars of something which I dont recognize and it's time to change that out...If all fast food places looked like a Five Guys, I would be pretty happy. I had the understanding there are 3 different flavors - original , spicy, and honey mustard . The lady at the window said there only 2 , but I think she might not know yet. The meal was around $10.99. I asked if they had the fried pickled pictured in the drive thru as and they said no. They should take down that sign. I can agree with this locations rating s , management needs to be more present at this location , the parking lot is weird, the immediate area could use some cleaning landscape upgrades. The employees at this location are always lovely, helpful, and try to quickly accommodate any errors. They rarely make mistakes when I order in the Dining area, unless they're super busy. It wasn't real bacon as well really thin but I returned it to get a fresh one that was hot and that one was even worse after that my chicken wasn't even crispy like the fresh chicken I had the first time. I was hoping things would improve but after four trips with no incremental improvement, I think the quality might not improve until the Corporate Office exerts some food quality control training. There used to be an elderly Asian gentleman who I would see there frying up the food and back then I would have rated the location 5 stars. The food was always hot, flavorful, great batter and with that nice Southern fried crunch. I think with Covid, the location lost the good workers and the new ones haven't been given enough training. The last several trips the biscuits, chicken, butterfly shrimp and fries have been lukewarm to cold. The batter on the chicken is thin so it is almost like having Church's fried chicken. The flavoring was almost non-existent and not enough batter or crunch to the chicken.The shrimp, fries and biscuits tasted like they had been sitting for awhile and were cold. I will still visit other Popeye's but this one which is within reasonable driving distance is disappointing. I'll try it again in a couple of months and hope they can get back to 5 stars. On Christmas I ordered through grub hub from this same place around 3:30pm, and it said my food would be here in 35 minutes again. When my delivery was less than 10 minutes away the screen switched to "your driver is picking up your order." When I text the driver "it said you were 10 minutes away from delivery, what happened," all of a sudden the restaurant cancelled my order. I looked online and they were actually closed (pickup window closed at 1:30pm). I called the credit card company and got a full refund for my Thanksgiving order because THEY WERE CLOSED when I ordered my food. Has this happened to you?
