Hello I visited the Popeyes drive thru on Friday 4/10 with my wife for the first time and and it will be my last. The Glenway ave. Unit was horrible. First I ordered 2 #3's payed $22 and no cheese on my chicken sandwiches! Cheese was on both, I ordered 2 mashed potatoes and received NO fork or spoon for the potatoes! For the 2 #3's I received 19 napkins for just 2 sandwiches. Being a retired Wendy's GM i assure you it was a horrible experience. Since ate it in the car between appointments, we scooped our potatoes with our coke straw! Thank goodness, they gave straws with our drinks!! read more

Disgusting!!! Ordering took forever even though there was only 1 car ahead of us. The menu board was broken. A terrible burnt smell. Out of all but one side option. Took forever to get the food even though it seemed there were plenty of employees inside. Our order was wrong including the sauces we asked for and they must not have changed the oil after they burnt that batch because our chicken tasted burnt. 100% Gross!!! Not going back! I never got my food to be clear. The drive thru was shut down two hours early, so I entered the location, no employees were visible so I stood and waited, an employee finally showed up in a white jacket and was on the phone on a FaceTime with multiple people and was openly cussing. I was told that they needed to drop the chicken and to wait. Employee went outside to finish their very important FaceTime. I was then left alone in the restaurant lobby for twenty minutes before a female employee came in and asked what I was waiting for. They could not locate my order in the large pile of recipts and then told me they also had no containers and the side would be messy in the Togo containers so I asked to put them in cups, the cook came in 35-40 minutes after my order was placed and didn't seem like he wanted to cook the order. The female advised me I should probably just ask for a refund. No one had any intentions on working and all employees were outside scattered amongst different cars. Then I went to Caines and got chicken, it was fresh and the employees were great. Fighting with customer service to get a refund now. Kinda weird to leave customers in an empty location while all the employees hang out outside. read more

we ordered 2 sandwiches, a large mashed potato, and a biscuit. when we received the order (through uber eats) we had the right receipt attached, however, we had 2 drums and 2 breasts in the bag. i understand we ordered late but if im able to pick items and place the order i expect those items to be available. if you don't have any of the stuff someone ordered just cancel it instead of fulfilling it with bs. uber eats won't give me a refund and no one here eats bone-in chicken. read more

This has got to be the WORST POPEYES IN CINCINNATI !! The service is terrible. The food is disgusting. Chicken was dry,overcooked and tasted like it had been cooked in old grease and sitting for hours. The staff just can't get it right ! I'm the only car in the drive thru and they still got my order wrong! I ordered gold bbq bacon and cheese and received a regular chicken sandwich. I purchased a 3pc meal in 11/15/2024 at 930pm and it looked and tasted like it was cooked upon opening that day. Dry, hardly any meat and mostly batter. I understand getting a piece that's not quality every now and then in a batch , but to serve and sell it seemed careless. Never again read more

ordered 16pc (50/50) family meal online to give plenty of time for New Year's Day 2024... It would've been the same difference & less fuss to order at the counter. Only 2 PCs regular... clerk tried to give only chicken (no sides), and this was 20 minutes after the scheduled time. The 2 associates who went to the parking lot to attend a street pharmacy transaction really elevated the ambiance for the experience. Do yourself a favor and get pizza instead. Chicken has very little breading and what there is is burned. Just this side of inedible. I usually go to the Colerain location and have never been disappointed. I sure wish I had read the reviews of this place before I wasted $20. read more

Pathetically awful service. Sat in the drive thru for fifteen minutes and it only moved because people were smart enough to give up and leave. Eventually we gave up as well and walked inside, stupidly thinking that would be the more expedient option. The employees there were lackadaisical and flippant, acting put off when several customers came back inside to complain about their order being wrong or missing items. We stood in line for another ten minutes, with literally only two groups ahead of us, and just listened in borderline awe as the person working the cash register listed all of the things they were out of, up to and including various lid sizes for containers and drinks. Every time someone told her their order was incorrect, she reacted like they were telling her a bad joke. It was a genuinely awkward experience, and it felt like no one was in charge or taking any kind of responsibility and that the entire place was completely at sea. People LOVE Popeye's chicken enough to put up with this farce of a franchise enough to keep it open, somehow, which to me means they could make an absolute killing around here if they could just hire a few employees that care enough to do their jobs correctly, or maybe just burn this one down and start over from scratch. I went through the drive thru at this location a few Friday nights ago. I'm not sure if they're doing dining room business yet but when and if they do I will revisit this restaurant then and see how it goes. As for the drive thru visit they parked me for a few minutes since I had a big order and they wanted the food to be hot and fresh which I greatly appreciated. Everything was exactly as I ordered it and the service was very good so full marks in that department. I got a big box of basic fried chicken with the spicy breading. The breading is exploding with awesome Cajun flavour and the chicken was juicy. The breasts were slighty on the small side but not too bad. Excellent fried chicken in my book. I also got their famous Spicy Chicken Sandwich which despite the fact it's kind of droopy and sad looking is still one of the best on the market. The spicy chicken breast is flavourful and awesome but the sauce is what makes this sandwich stand apart. It's kind of like a spicy chipolte mayo thing and it's legendary. The biscuits are kind of meh but the Cajun Fries are quite good. I still miss the Cajun Rice and wish very much it would make a return. In any case a darn good Friday night dinner to pick up. read more

Cincinnati Colerain chicken is over cooked, and sometimes under cooked with smaller sized pieces.

No one for writing reviews but they took over 40 minutes to get our order to us, put it in the system wrong first as well which isn't a problem because we went in, SUPER slow, had employees working high, walking like zombies, multiple orders went out before us and people came back with and said things were missing. Long line and when I talked to the guy in the drive thru I told them I have a coupon for a 19.99 family 10 piece meal. And when we came to pay he started to charge us 25.99 we told them we mentioned at the speaker a coupon he said we have to pay full price you don't get no coupon when he had it.
