My experience with Action Painting Pros was extremely disappointing and my recommendation is to…read morestay away from this company. This company was hired through my HOA to perform an exterior siding repair, so I did not choose them directly. From the beginning, communication was poor. I was never given a schedule or notice of when the work would occur--the crew simply showed up unannounced one day and completed the job without any prior coordination. After the initial repair was finished, I discovered visible daylight coming through the wall from the interior, which made it clear the work was not done properly. Additionally, black sheet plastic was used a barrier under the siding, which prevents moisture for exiting the interior and is likely to cause water damage over the long term. I raised these this immediately as a workmanship issue. Rather than acknowledging the problem, Jennifer (the owner) suggested to my HOA that I was asking for "upgrades" and trying to expand the scope of work, even though I was only asking for the original repair to be completed correctly. Before the company returned, I explained my concerns in detail--both to the worker on site and directly to Jennifer--including concerns about the materials used and the lack of a proper weather-resistive barrier. Despite that, the follow-up visit did not correct the exterior repair. Instead, the crew simply applied interior spray foam to cover the gaps. This addressed the symptom (daylight) but not the underlying problem. Getting any meaningful follow-up was very difficult. I was ghosted by Jennifer after raising legitimate issues about the quality of the work. I had to resurface the issue through my HOA. Jennifer's contact is the only one listed on the company website, so if an issue arises and she ignores you, you have no recourse. Other reviewers have also reported being 'ghosted' by Jennifer. Overall, the quality of the workmanship was extremely poor and my recommendation is to stay away from this company. This recommendation is further supported by the observed poor communication, unannounced scheduling, dismissive responses to workmanship concerns, and an inadequate corrective repair. I have no confidence in the quality of the job. Based on my experience, I do not recommend this company.

Removal of popcorn ceilings I used Gaucho's Painting Service…read moreto remove the popcorn ceilings in my condo. Their work surpassed all my expectations. My living room ceilings were damaged, had brown water spots, peeling popcorn, and needed much repair work. The ceiling boards did not meet, so there was a large gap, which is what I think may have started the problem. Additionally, someone had tried to repair but the ceiling still looked awful. Before starting, Julian told me that the ceiling would be smooth when he finished. That was hard to believe because it looked like it was beyond repair. However, by the time the job was finished, there was no sign anywhere of the previous damage. It was like there had never been popcorn ceilings. I was overjoyed. He not only repaired the ceiling, but he primed it and did two coats of paint. I don't think most companies would do all of that work, especially at his price. Also, they are so clean and neat. Actually, my house looked better after they left than it did when they started. Even while the work was being completed, I was able to stay in the house. I asked that my bedroom be done first so i would have a place to sleep, and do my office last on a day when i was not working remote. He did exactly that. Never, did i smell any fumes or dust or anything uncomfortable. They went beyond the call of duty, and are also extremely quick. job only took a few days, just as he said it would. Work is very detailed; you can tell he really cares about the quality of his work and said when his clients are happy, he is happy. Both he and his wife are very professional. They were polite, punctual, kind, and trustworthy, and most certainly well worth the price. In fact, I thought his price was extremely reasonable, because without that, I could never have afforded to have this work done. I just can't say enough about this company. I wish he did other types of renovations because i'd certainly hire them for any and everything, because I know the quality of his work and know that he would do a stellar job at anything he was hired to do. I love my condo now; the new ceilings have brightened up the whole home. I and so grateful that I found them. If I need anything else done, and it is within their scope of work, without a second thought, I would hire them again.

We walked thru out the home (empty home) and Mr. Fred, Sr. told me of his experience in the industry and the process of removing the popcorn ceiling. While Mr. Fred was there, I also asked him to evaluate the painting of my kitchen cabinets as well, without hesitation he proceeded with the quote. Within 48 hours I received an electronic professional proposal document outlining both jobs, costs, warranties, deposits, and expectations. I electronically signed the documentation, paid my deposit and a crew was ready to start within a week of my initial contact with Bravo Professional Contractors. Mr. Fred contacted me when some unexpected work was needed on the kitchen ceiling, I approved of the additional work and work continued. The work for both jobs was completed in 5 business days and I was greatly satisfied with the work. Pros: -Great customer service by Mr. Fred, Sr. -Quick response and start time -Questions asked and information given at initial evaluation -Overall pricing in-line with research quotes -Warranty given -Satisfaction of completed work Cons: -Working crew leaving paint and small debris in back yard, along with paint all over my new water hose.
