Several years ago when we got tired of cleaning the ashes out of our wood burning fireplace, we contracted with them to install a gas fireplace. We already had the gas line run to the fireplace. They had a great selection of ceramic logs. We have been quite happy with the set up. And it is a lot easier to clean. Recently the chain screen in front of the fireplace needed to be replaced. Surprisingly, they do wear out. We bought the screen and had them install it. As an additional benefit, their garage door openers also work as remote openers for driveway gates. Great locally owned company that provides good service.

Chris was my technician he arrived on time and went quickly to troubleshooting the problem. The…read moreoverhead door at my business has been an on going problem for years which other door companies that I will not mention would put a band aid on it then tell me I should consider replacing it. They seemed more interested in selling me a new one then repairing the existing one. Chris quickly explained to me the repairs needed and the price he quoted was very reasonable. I asked when could he fit me in, "now he replied" and actually was prepared with parts on his service truck wow, what a noble concept. He started the repairs that afternoon and followed up the next day to finish the project. Chris literally removed most if not all the rollers and pins cleaned, greased reattached the brackets and assemblies with new fasteners. Cleaned and greased the rails, lubed the large torsion spring he even installed a handle and made the outside entrance with the key easier by installing a tension spring on the latch. He spent as much time as the other 3 door companies combined and it showed the door works like when it was new and the price quoted did not change. He was very cordial but all we did was communicate via text on possible repair options. He was too busy to get back to Metairie. We finally set up an appointment for him to stop in, a Saturday. I re-arranged my schedule as I work M-F. Friday night came and he has to postpone to Sunday. Sunday came and the tech finally showed, but it was a different tech and he was not qualified to work on commercial doors. He simply went up and took a picture to send over to the other tech, a picture that I had taken previously, a picture that I know went to the other tech previously since we discussed potential repair options. So, their techs time and my time was completely wasted coming in for Sunday at 8am, only to have them reply on Monday via text and say sorry for all this but we are too busy to give you service on your door. They might have some great reviews, but I feel this was a complete waste of time, theirs, mine, ours, etc.
