Best cheddar pop corn in the world. Best kettle corn in the world. There are simply too many variations so we will have to come back!

Got a wiff of popcorn in the air so went in a grabbed a triple mix (Chicago) of cheddar, butter and caramel, a bag of hot jalapeno, and will pickle. The triple mix was good, exactly what I expected. The dill tasted just like eating a pickle, my son wanted it. I opted for the "hot" jalapeno, I've had hotter peanut butter cookies. Had a nice smell, nice taste, but no heat. Typical tourist trap. Dropped $20 on 3 small bags of popcorn. Been there done that.

This is one of those places you walk by and the smells make you hungry even if you are stuffed. While waiting for our table at the brasserie for brunch we killed time exploring front street. My mom whom LOVES popcorn couldn't resist. Inside they offer a few drinks and loads of flavors of fresh made popcorn in a variety of sizes bags. Whether you seek sweet, spicy or salty they have you covered! She got two large bags to go.

Best caramel corn ever! Also bought the caramel corn with white chocolate - good, but way too sweet for moi.

Typically our family will buy a half pound slab or two of Murdick's Fudge, because it is everywhere up here in the Traverse Bay area. I am *devastated* that I wasted thirty-some-odd years of my life on such sub-par fudge. I had no idea. 45th Parallel's Candy World (Yelp administrators, please correct your spelling) is a tiny shop on the side of a restaurant, but it has a hundred years of memories inside. Everything from clove candy, bubble gum cigars, big league chew, sour pucker powder, and even a giant Sugar Daddy. But behind the case are around twenty flavors of truly decadent, top-quality, gourmet fudge. Flavors such as dark chocolate salted caramel, bubble gum, maple nut, and peanut butter chocolate (complete with halved Reese's cups on top) tease the eyes while making the salivary glands work overtime. Our family's favorite is the dark chocolate salted caramel- the perfect amount of sea salt, and not at all bitter. Check the board outside for specials: today's was "buy one pound, get 1/2 pound free". When you're in the Suttons Bay/Leelanau area, bypass Dam Candy and Murdick's and head STRAIGHT for Candy World!

The point is...BUMPY CAKE ICE CREAM. My taste buds were having a difficult time even processing this incredible experience. This is probably the best ice cream I've ever had. In addition, the young men working were fantastic. Kind, welcoming, patient and polite despite clearly being busy. GREAT place to get ice cream and then chill right outside in the park.

It's a small store but offers (almost all) of the Northern MI favorites from flavored popcorn, saltwater taffy, fudge, turtles and ice cream. Service was friendly and servings are large! Pricing seems reasonable too. I went for a child size sugar cone of the Black Bear Ice Cream and it was more than enough. It's not the best ice cream by any means, but it does the job. Sidenote: I recall a "sugar loaf" fudge flavor from my youth that they didn't have at this Murdick's during our visit... If my memory serves, it is vanilla fudge with m&ms. If you see that, don't miss it! Either way, if you find yourself in Petoskey with a sugar craving or need for a sweet treat, you can't go wrong with a visit to this Murdick's.

As you enter you will encounter all things cherry as there are many different foods, drinks, and other items for purchase. It may feel a little overwhelming with the amount of things in the store! My family and I got to enjoy various samples of all things cherry, my favorite being the cherry gummy bears. We headed over to the wine counter in which we did two wine tastings for $1 each. The staff member who served us was knowledgeable and informative. Both of the wines I got were delicious!
