I had a simple car unlock. I was quoted 45 minute arrival with a charge of $61.00. After 1 hour I called them back to see their ETA. Iwas told that they were in route to another call and were running behind and would call me woth a new ETA. After 20 mlre minutes, still no return call. I called back and was told they would be leaving for me soon from their location 25 minutes away. 10 minutes I get a text stating they are in route to my location with tracking info..... 10 minutes later and they still haven't moved. Also, in the text messages they changed the price from $61.00 to $76.00. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE.... THEY LIE AND TRY TO CHEAT YOU! Break your window... you'll have less frustration. read more

I'm a GEICO customer and they dispatched Pop-a-lock to assist my son with is flat tire. The Rep. that came to our home, 30 minutes late. With a aggressive attitude, toward my son. The Rep. instead of a hello, he said you don't know how to change a tire. My son then asked the Rep. to repeat himself. Then Rep. said you had all this time and you didn't move your vehicle so I can even change your tire. My son was shocked, at the unhelpful attitude. So, my son stated do you have a problem. Then Rep said do you wanna do something and grabbed a tire iron toward my son. Then left without providing a service. Honestly I thank God he left without changing the tire incorrectly. I reported this issue to GEICO and Pop-a-lock. Now I fear that this person knows where I live. Management was aware of this employee's aditude which means to me this was not the first time this has happened. So I just wanted the public to be aware of this service we received. NEVER CALL POP A LOCK Of Baton Rouge I had a battery problem and needed a jump today. Called road service and they sent POP aLOCK of Baton Rouge. Driver was in a hurry and kept going to his truck. I showed him red post inside car door to connect battery to open hood to jump battery. He did not believe me so I showed u tube how to video . He said no way cause red post was on bottom of fuse box and not on top like video then ran to his truck and drove off. AMAZING service! I went to Walmart and somehow locked my key into car. Normally my car doesn't allow the door to lock with the key inside, but whatever. It did. I didn't know what to do so my husband said to call Pop-A-Lock. I've never had to use a service like this before so I didn't know what to expect. They were so awesome. I called, a rep answered right away. So efficient, I told them my location and type of vehicle and they said someone would be out within an hour. Okkk, so I went into Walmart and started shopping. Less than 15 minutes later I got a call saying the technician was here!! So fast!! So I went out and no joke, it took less than 2 mins to open the door and retrieve my keys. I was shocked!! It was $54 but that's was totally fine with me. I will definitely use them if I'm ever in a similar predicament. Love their professionalism and courtesy!! read more

One piece of advice, is if you drive a truck, f250 or larger, or a full size SUV, down play it when you call their corporate phone number, and they're all corporate phone numbers. They then will dispatch their lowly, poor bastard of a hopefully good guy, local minion to physically come unlock your hostage self and vehicle. At the most vulnerable time, and money desperate, of you're greatest despair! Tell the asshole on the line it's the smallest of the smallest piece of crap vehicle you can think of. They'll still come, and the poor bastard that is dispatched to you won't care a bit, base minimum pay for him, or her, betting it's a a him! Cut the corporate charge short, and then tip the poor slug that shows up to save your ass! Just my advice. Bad bad bad. Had a flat and Geico roadside sent out pop a lock. The man showed up quick in his own car which was odd to me but whatever. He gave me attitude that my car was parked on the street (9pm in a residential neighborhood so no traffic) and I stood in the road the whole time. He told me my tire was dry rotted (spoiler alert, it wasnt) and when I asked what that meant he treated me like an idiot and said "it means its dry rotted" in a very condescending way. Again, whatever i get it i wouldn't wanna be changing a tire at 9pm either. After lifting my car up and changing to my BRAND NEW $277 spare tire, instead of lowering the car and then removing the jack, he straight up pulled the jack out and slammed my car onto the tires. After this he very quickly wrote me a receipt and left. I didn't know any better so I went to grab something at the store but before I could even make it up the block, my spare was flat and the rim was grading on the ground. Every light on my dash came on and I had a panic attack thinking my car was beyond repair. Mazda confirmed that the slam of him pulling the jack out is what broke my spare, as it dented the rim on the inside. Thankfully nothing else was wrong with my car, the lights just came on as a precaution. So I got to pay over $400 for an alignment and a new spare tire because of an employees negligence. Rip off company!!! I LOST my car key 12/30/21 at my moms job. Called these scammers and was told a key for my model would have to be ordered and wouldn't be in until 01/03/22. And the price would be 290.00. Had them order the key and attempted to pay and was told I would pay when the tech shows up.. Took the time slot for 1/3/22 and waited.. Cool. Come Monday the technician shows up and has two keys. He sprayed something in my ignition and tried the keys. Nothing happened and black stuff started leaking out of my ignition. He said the keys wouldn't Program, and pretty much left. I had to pay 160.00 to have my car towed to the dealership. I reached out to the GENERAL MANAGER "Paul" and was told that they will spray WD40 on ignitions but in this case "someone put graphite" in my ignition hole. What's graphite? I asked. He then had the nerve to tell me it's used for commercial locks and pin locks. He then proceeded to tell me that he went to the dealership and cleaned out all the graphite, and I should thank him because my car is waiting but I have to pay the 125.00 diagnostic fee. He saved me blah blah blah in labor. What the hell??? Had the technician simply say he didn't know up from down that would have helped just a little. But to literally jack my car up and then say, "oh u should be thankful" is a joke!!! Yall just suck!!!! Now, because YALL couldn't program a key that YALL ordered and had me wait 4 days for, I'm out 285.00 and I should be thankful??? Yall are a real joke and this NOT how people should be treated!!! Yall are absolutely at fault on this one and to insinuate that I put graphite in my OWN ignition is complete bullshit and to have a GM say such crap is a fucking joke. Pop a lock Baton Rouge greedy ass automatically take calls and then don't show up . Contacted multiple times and they just kept giving me an ETA and not saying anything else . Called then and Once I hang up the phone , they said the call was complete on the status but here I am on side of the road and no one in sight . Contacted State Farm as well as nissan roadside and they kept dispatching pop a lock Baton Rouge for them to keep falling through . Once I got State Farm agent on the line she said they wouldn't come because I was in an unsafe location where I pulled over and they couldn't find anyone else to come . No one updated me for a while and when I spoke with the lady again I told her a police officer stopped to help but didn't have the proper equipment to change the tire. Finally a tow truck company accepted the call and called me to see where I was exactly . The guy who came was nice and quick but I was stuck in Baton Rouge for way too long . He told me they asked him if he knew me once the call got put back in the system . That was an irrelevant ass question but y'all have to do better I was stranded for about 2 plus hours . read more

Great service ! Locked myself out of the house the other day. I'm a mother of twins so my brain does not function fully on most days ! They came out and struggled a bit with both doors. Finally unlocked one thank the LORD ! I don't like to admit it but we've used then quite a bit in the past few years. They're always courteous and very professional. It cost me $60 but it beat waiting for my husband to get home 6hrs later ! I would recommend them to anyone and will probably use them again in the future. read more

For several days had trouble getting key in and out of ignition on 2007 Honda Fit. I should have called an automotive locksmith immediately but did not. On Sat night ignition would not work. Car luckily was in garage so did not need to tow. Sunday called Pop a Lock who said their Honda Specialist was off on Sundays but would come Monday am. He came 10 am and rebuilt ignition in one hour. $250. Original key then worked fine. Very nice and great. Named Donald. Took credit card. Said new ignition would have been $1000. Said always make sure wheels are straight and not turned when starting car. Pop a Lock and Donald were very business like , friendly, and professional. I highly recommend them. Locked my keys in my car today and had to call Pop-A-Lock. I rang the # found on Google and within a few seconds was greeted with a friendly voice. She took my information and estimated arrival time for 35-40 min. Shortly thereafter I received a phone call from the employee saying he was almost to my car. Scott with Pop-A-Lock showed up sooner than expected, found my vehicle with out directions and was waiting for me when I walked out of my office. He did an amazing job, provided excellent customer service and was exceedingly friendly. I would highly recommend anyone that gets Scott or even any other Pop-A-Lock employee that works with this attitude be tipped. The employee I spoke to on the phone was EXTREMELY rude, I could hardly hear what she was saying and when I asked her to repeat herself, she raised her voice and had a bad attitude.
