As a disabled person this service is invaluable to me. Professional and always on time. 2nd to none, hands down.

I wasn't planning on writing a review, but Joe's review is prettyyy shocking to me…read more We have two pups from Pawfect Life. Our first pup, Cory, we adopted when we were renting a small home, no fenced in yard. Most rescues would have refused us as we did not own our own home and did not have a fence. We spoke with Julie multiple times, gave references and explained our desire to have a high-energy pup as my husband and I both enjoy hiking and running. Julie looked at our lifestyle and us and decided to introduce us to Cory. It was a great experience and he is an absolute perfect dog for our lifestyle. About a year later we decided to get a second dog. Julie had a couple in mind and we brought Cory in for a meet and greet. He got along fabulously with Tango (as Julie predicted) and we brought her home and never looked back. I have directed countless friends and family members to Pawfect Life and they have all had fantastic experiences. Julie is an amazing person who truly cares about the wellbeing of every one of these dogs. I'd never go anywhere else.

I'm glad they can be so selective on who is worthy of adopting from them or not, but they were…read moreextremely difficult to work with. First off, I had to email them weekly to figure out the status of my application. This went on for literally like two months. Just for them to turn around and say they don't think we're ready for a dog yet?? As if it's THEIR place to say if we are or not. We visited with a puppy there. Two couples had met with that dog first, then us, then another couple AFTER us. This puppy didn't get a single break from that room that whole time. The woman who facilitated our visit was extremely snobby, saying she doesn't think we're ready. I would like to add that this was AFTER we jumped through hoops to fill out their applications and find four people to give us recommendations. We went even further and got FIVE. Five people who said they believe our family is prepared to adopt a dog and properly care for them. I was beyond devastated when our adoption coordinator emailed us and told us she doesn't think she can work with us. This was the first time we put ourselves out there and filled out an application after losing our dog in a horrific, traumatizing accident a few years ago. Just to be treated this way is really disheartening and now we're afraid to even try and reach out to other shelters. I may use a fake name on here, but I'm sure they know exactly who we are. I'm assuming they don't tell many families with kids that they're "not ready" and shouldn't have a dog. Or maybe they do, I wouldn't be surprised about that either. They are clearly not THAT interested in providing homes to their dogs so they can go save more, because there was quite literally no reason for us to have been rejected. If you don't fit their EXACT standards, don't even waste your time. We are just so disappointed. 0 stars if I could.

PLEASE STAY AWAY FOR THE HEALTH and SAFETY of your pets…read more Are you cruel to Animals? Do you abuse them for fun? This might be the place for you. You know when you look at a place and it "doesn't look right"? You smell a place, and it just doesn't feel right? That is Shirley Cooney Dog boarding and Daycare. This is a sad case of "Second Generation" ownership. Folks in my town that I trust dearly, all had good things to say, but they were more than three year old dated experiences...Shirley is no longer part of the business, and it doesn't only blare like a fire alarm, its sad because her good name and love for dogs is on it. PLEASE STAY AWAY FOR THE HEALTH and SAFETY of your pets. They are caged 100% of the time, and urinate in their cages because they aren't let out. On my first day, their "procedures" and lack there of, raised my suspicion...it was a small place, so maybe that was ok - i justified in my head. Odd I thought that other dogs were whining for a "free roaming" facility. I let it go, on my return that night, my puppy was very happy to see me, but was hot and needed to use bathroom - thought maybe just new place, she was getting used to it. So I said, I would be back tomorrow. My poor puppy on the second and final day of their care came home with a limp leg. I ran immediately to the vet to ensure no breaks. Thank god, it was a sprain that went away in 48 hours. When asking the "staff" what happened, they said they don't know, because they weren't there for her grooming...She was there for 8 hours of day care while I was at work! The vet kept asking what the smell was..I said its from her being there - it was diarrhea from the cage above her, and on her back....She was not hydrated..and peed and pooped immediately outside.(with three legs at the vet checkup). I was so angry, I didn't trust my self to return to ask for my money back or for them to cover the vet bill. It's best I never see the two people who "work there" ever again. PLEASE STAY AWAY FOR THE HEALTH and SAFETY of your pets.
