Pawfect Life Rescue - Tillie

Pawfect Life Rescue

I wasn't planning on writing a review, but Joe's review is prettyyy shocking to me…read more We have two pups from Pawfect Life. Our first pup, Cory, we adopted when we were renting a small home, no fenced in yard. Most rescues would have refused us as we did not own our own home and did not have a fence. We spoke with Julie multiple times, gave references and explained our desire to have a high-energy pup as my husband and I both enjoy hiking and running. Julie looked at our lifestyle and us and decided to introduce us to Cory. It was a great experience and he is an absolute perfect dog for our lifestyle. About a year later we decided to get a second dog. Julie had a couple in mind and we brought Cory in for a meet and greet. He got along fabulously with Tango (as Julie predicted) and we brought her home and never looked back. I have directed countless friends and family members to Pawfect Life and they have all had fantastic experiences. Julie is an amazing person who truly cares about the wellbeing of every one of these dogs. I'd never go anywhere else.

I'm glad they can be so selective on who is worthy of adopting from them or not, but they were…read moreextremely difficult to work with. First off, I had to email them weekly to figure out the status of my application. This went on for literally like two months. Just for them to turn around and say they don't think we're ready for a dog yet?? As if it's THEIR place to say if we are or not. We visited with a puppy there. Two couples had met with that dog first, then us, then another couple AFTER us. This puppy didn't get a single break from that room that whole time. The woman who facilitated our visit was extremely snobby, saying she doesn't think we're ready. I would like to add that this was AFTER we jumped through hoops to fill out their applications and find four people to give us recommendations. We went even further and got FIVE. Five people who said they believe our family is prepared to adopt a dog and properly care for them. I was beyond devastated when our adoption coordinator emailed us and told us she doesn't think she can work with us. This was the first time we put ourselves out there and filled out an application after losing our dog in a horrific, traumatizing accident a few years ago. Just to be treated this way is really disheartening and now we're afraid to even try and reach out to other shelters. I may use a fake name on here, but I'm sure they know exactly who we are. I'm assuming they don't tell many families with kids that they're "not ready" and shouldn't have a dog. Or maybe they do, I wouldn't be surprised about that either. They are clearly not THAT interested in providing homes to their dogs so they can go save more, because there was quite literally no reason for us to have been rejected. If you don't fit their EXACT standards, don't even waste your time. We are just so disappointed. 0 stars if I could.

Yesterday was my dog's first spa day and we had a great experience! My pup is usually apprehensive…read moreabout grooming, but I'm confident that those feelings will change after a few more visits to Waggy Tails. Kristen and her team are incredibly professional and hospitable. When I picked my dog up from her spa day, she was blissfully relaxed, and she looked and smelled fantastic. My dog and I are so happy we found Waggy Tails and we look forward to more luxurious spa days in the future!

I have been taking my dog here since he was a puppy, for over five years. To preface, I have never…read morehad a problem with his haircut or the way they treated my dog, he always came back clean and neat. The problem I have had with this place is the poor customer service. After five years, thousands of dollars, and being a loyal customer, I was "let go" and cancelled from returning to this grooming studio. The owner cited "differences in scheduling needs" as the reason for dropping me after so long. This place books several months out in advance and my dog was getting a haircut every six weeks on the dot, no exceptions. If you need flexibility in scheduling this is not the place for you. Loyal customers don't mean much to this studio. Getting dropped after over five years was shocking and upsetting for me, and unfair to my dog. Also, they don't comply with requests for haircuts, they just do what they want. I asked for him to be shaved short at the beginning of the summer since he swims and it gets knotted easily. After paying and returning to get my dog, I found him unshaved and still fluffy. They simply just did what they wanted and not what I paid for. Do not recommend.
