I am 100% understanding if you simply cannot take on any more work load. However, the rude, condescending, unsolicited advice is not necessary. While true, I don't need to be told that the puppy we're not getting (we are rehoming a 3 year old dog) needs to be crate trained and that we need to accommodate time for the puppy (again, not getting a puppy but this was assumed) to get used to its new home. This is common sense as an adult... If you cannot render services to any additional inquiring potential customers, my suggestion is to thank them for their inquiry and advise that you have to POLITELY decline being hired as you do not have the capacity for new customers at this time. Then refrain from talking to their person like they are uneducated and lacking common sense and perhaps give a referral or start a waiting list.

I made Ann aware of my pets' requirements and she has met everyone of my expectations and so much more. Her input has been greatly appreciated as I have elderly animals with medical needs. Ann has texted me with updates when I have been away, and in general, I received photos daily, which I appreciated. Ann understands that one's pets are part of the family! Knowing Ann would be taking care of my pets when I was not home has been reassuring, and I would highly recommend the service.

Coast to Coast Cardiology - Quincy and Riley

I took my dog and my cat to the Sturbridge office back in April and received wonderful care by the…read morecardiologist. However, in August, my dog's breathing rate increased, which is a sign of congestive heart failure. I called them on Thursday evening and they told me to go to my regular vet to get x-rays and have them sent to C to C for review. I did that. The x-rays indicated he was in congestive heart failure. Their website says they are available until 11 pm every night, seven days a week. I started calling them on Friday and continued throughout the weekend. I got one call from them on Saturday night and they didn't leave a message. I tried calling them back and didn't hear back from them again until 10:15 am on Monday morning when they told me that someone would look over the x-rays on Tuesday - a full 5 days after my dog first showed signs of heart failure. These people are monsters. When I told them about the office hours on their website, they said "we haven't had those hours for years." It is false advertising. I spent well over $3,000 on those initial exams and diagnosis. I could have gone someplace else, but when I saw that I could reach them anytime, I saw that as a selling point. This place should be sued. They care absolutely nothing about your pets. Avoid this place, and if you are already a customer, find someplace else before it's too late and they kill your dog.

Wanted to do an update from my last review because I know it seems like it couldn't be worse to…read moredeal with Coast to Coast Cardiology, but it ended up being even worse... After our 20 min comprehensive exam, they sent us the records for our files including the echocardiogram, Doppler ultrasound, and X-rays for $1400 (that were dated from 2 days before and had another dog's name on them), we realized Quincy never got any tests done at all. So we have no baseline to start treatment with, and we are already out $1400 and an entire day of travel to and from Santa Barbara. We still trusted that the doctor must have known what he was doing because he listened to Quincy's heart and diagnosed a grade 3B heart murmur and mitral valve disease. When he prescribed 80 mg per day of pimobendan we started giving it to him the next day. Within 3 days Quincy was a different dog, and it kept getting worse. At first we thought that maybe his disease was just progressing faster all of a sudden, and we prepared ourselves for this year being the end of life year for him. The doctor had said Quincy would get more and more lethargic, start panting at night during regular sleep, and begin to struggle to breathe during the day as well. He also prescribed meds for a cough which Quincy did not have regularly yet, and told us to expect it to get worse over time. The doctor said Quincy had about 1.5 years left, which meant he would pass at age 10.5. We figured the end might even come sooner with the quick decline in his health. We were pretty stunned considering his mother and father and grandparents had all lived to be 13 or older. We called his breeder who is a leading expert in cavalier health, and the president of the cavalier club for the US at the time. She was also stunned, and said we should immediately put Quincy on heart supplements. I told her the doctor said they didn't make any difference for his patients. My breeder immediately said that if this cardiologist didn't know about the research on the benefits of specific supplements for heart health in dogs with heart problems, he didn't know what he was doing. She also told us that all of her dogs get the full exams we got at age 9, and that it takes about 4 hours to get them done... not 20 minutes! She didn't believe any objective testing had been done on Quincy at all, based on the fact that he was in and out in such a short amount of time. We went on a short trip 2 weekends later, and while we were riding in the car and I was massaging Quincy's back and thinking about his dramatic change in behavior and health over the past month, and it came to me like a flash... Quincy hadn't started this panting, coughing, and super lethargic behaviors until after he started taking the prescribed pimobendan. So I went online and checked the dosage he had been given... it was 4 times higher than the maximum dosage for his weight!!! It should have been 20mg per day not 80! He was overdosing on pimobendan!!! That weekend I slowly started weaning the dosage down, because it can't be stopped quickly or the dog can have even worse heart problems or a heart attack. The less he took of it, the better he felt! OMG I felt like an idiot. Why did I trust a person who didn't even do a real exam on my dog, and who cheated me out of $1400, to prescribe the correct medication or the correct dosage for my precious dog? It is now about a year since we took Quincy to Coast to Coast Cardiology. He is completely off of the pimobenden and all other meds, and taking the heart supplement recommended by my breeder. He is feeling better than he did before we went in. I get that for some dogs it may be necessary, but if I learned anything, it is that it is better to start very slowly and always look up the recommended dosages for your dog's weight. Do not take the doctor's word for it. Whatever you do, do not take your precious dog to see these people. If you already have, or someone you know has come here, please advise them to check the dosages on their dogs medications carefully. Something is very wrong with this whole operation.
