Asked about cost and we were told estimates are free. Electrician comes and begins to see what it entails and an hour and 40 mins later, after he struggled sliding out the dishwasher, the work is done and the bill is over $525!! But where was the free estimate?! Never happened! But why?? After questioning this astronomical cost, we're told it's $175 an hour plus parts. They reduced the cost by 20 mins, as they tried to charge 2 hours of time and not 1:40 minutes, bringing it down to $467! Outrageous!! TIC TOC, TIC TOC - Time is Money! Maybe this is the going rate, but customers should know that going in and not sneakingly hit you some absurd bill when you think the service is being evaluated for an estimate. And they must had been some expensive parts for an outlet box, some wire and a plug. Totally sucks to think you're waiting on an estimated cost to never get the estimate, just an overpriced bill! They never gave us the option to accept or decline the estimate as there was none!! Had we known it was $175 an hour to install an outlet, we would had passed on this company. I guess that's why when we originally asked what the cost would be, it was kept a secret until too late. So my advice is if you have no other company to choose from, don't talk to the electrician, because time is money and you're being charged for every minute of conversation or friendliness you may want to show. Pretty sad that everything is always about money. Although the electrician was very friendly, I would not recommend this company, unless you have a signed agreement on the price, or estimate if you get one, before the work begins or you could be in for a shafting! And in the end, we never even received a bill, an invoice or any breakdown of the outrageous price we paid. Sad!

At the beginning of the conversation, I was very clear that I was just calling for a quote, and once the person gave me the information, he wanted to lock in and pay a down payment towards the quote. I told him once again that I have other companies to check out, and I am not deciding on the first quote that I receive. he went on to tell me that it was the best quote, that the other company can scam me, and other additional stuff. Once more, I informed him of my plan, and while I was speaking, he hung up on me. If this reflects how the company conducts itself, I am definitely not using them. And I would advise everyone not to use them because they are very unprofessional.

During the whole project we have been threatened, insulted, harassed, and even blackmailed; he reported us to the city for doing a reno without permit and now he is threatening me to release a video of me, which was illegally recorded. MY pool was a disaster after paying him over $127k (original price was 120k). It is finally fixed but it was a nightmare. He didn't take responsibility for any mistakes; and demands extra payments to fix all his mistakes. The original price we agreed on was $120k; we ended up paying $128 and the pool was completed two months after the agreement. We lost thousands on rental income (summertime) because this is a vacation rental. Among other extras were 6k because he "forgot" to add the travertine deck (already in the plans} and another 1k to fix a sun-shelf he built 2 feet shorter (without my knowledge or approval). He blamed it on me because I signed the plans without noticing he had changed the dimension. He refused to provide contractor/vendor invoices; the actual prices were 3 times less than what he was charging. The plaster was a total disaster (pictures attached). He refused to fix it before paying him the final 5% balance. We finally agreed to pay AT FRONT if he signed a Notice to Cure"; he REFUSED. We asked him to write an addendum with the scope of the work; he REFUSED. He was planing to cut corners by resurfacing the pool instead of removing the existing damaged plaster and installing a new one. He also refused to provide his COI. His contractors also damaged the new grass after we replaced it and he refused to fix it. Also, due to his disability, he will NEVER show at your property to check the quality of the work. Nor he has a PM. He relies on contractors pictures. I had to be supervising the entire project. This is the second pool I built with this company. On my first review I gave him 5 stars. He made some big mistakes but he took responsibility and fixed the problems. Even though I had to share the cost. This time he is cutting corners and hiring new cheaper subcontractors who are not delivering the same quality craftsmanship as the ones he had a couple of years ago. Everything out of his mouth is a lie. He even accused me of saying things I NEVER SAID! He will deny everything; but I have everything documented. At some point i was under such stress I had to step aside and let my husband dealing with him. It went well for a while but he ended up receiving the same insults I did. Please do your research
