I had a really disappointing experience at this pool hall. While the venue itself has potential and could be a great place to relax and enjoy a game of billiards, the behavior of the floor manager completely ruined the atmosphere. The floor manager was extremely rude and dismissive toward customers, including my group. Instead of being welcoming or helpful, he came across as hostile and unprofessional, which made us feel uncomfortable the entire time. It's honestly shocking to see that kind of treatment in a place that relies on repeat customers and a social environment. The owner seriously needs to reevaluate who is representing the business on the floor. A manager sets the tone for the entire establishment, and right now, it's driving people away. If this continues, I wouldn't be surprised if the business starts losing customers. There's a lot of potential here, but it won't matter if people don't feel respected when they walk in. read more

Private parking lot. It's $3 for pool with drink purchase before 7pm (I think?) and $5 after 7pm for the rest of the night. It's been years since I have gone but it is now a smoke and vape free bar and that has improved it significantly. There is no longer smoke permeating the entire place. The bartenders are very nice and quick. They had tournaments and you can still get a table. Place was pretty packed so we might have just been lucky because someone at the bar gave up their table for us. The table we played had a very small tilt but nothing that would affect our returning. This place was pretty cool for hanging out. It was in walking distance from my parents home so that's the reason for going, but I wouldn't drive here. If you enjoy pool, then this place is for you. It's $5 per person with unlimited amount of play for the day. My friend and I played two rounds then sat at the bar. Service was on point and the drinks are extremely affordable. I most certainly would come here if I wanted a drink without the drive when visiting my folks, but that's about all. read more

I stopped in because it had been 10 or 12 years. It's the same. No smoking inside, it wasn't too rowdy, just a chill atmosphere. Typical Pool Hall. There are a few locals who seem to make their own rules on who can play on what table, but that happens. The drinks were STROOOONGG! Poolies opens at 1:00 every day, and their happy hour runs from opening to 7:00 every day. My favorite non-craft beer is Amber Bock, and it's only $1.50/pint. Best price I know of for Amber Bock anywhere! During happy hour, buy just one drink and pay one dollar to shoot pool until 7:00! All tables are regulation except for one 5' x 10'. I'm a non-smoker, and was not at all bothered by the smell of smoke early and mid-Sunday afternoon. It's detectable, but just barely. I suspect it's that way for at least the first five hours each day. They don't allow smoking around the tables, only at the bar (as I understand it). It's a bit of a drive for me, but their happy hour deal makes it worthwhile. read more

If you're comparing it to a dive bar, this place is worth checking out. But if you have a higher quality sports bar/ pool hall in mind, this may not be what you're looking for. When you enter you'll probably be surprised by how roomy & spread out everything is. And you'll definitely notice the smoke... gross. There's quite a few pool tables and dart boards to choose from. Bartender was really friendly and attentive. We went on karaoke night which was not up my alley. There's a few TVs to check out the game as well. Great service, cheap drinks, good people. Prolly not the place to go to get laid....just a cool spot for pool - 12 tables(plus they have Pool Leagues Sun - Thurs), darts, Fri & Sun Poker nights, lots of tv's w/ ESPN (a must for me!). Next door is their little club if you want to get your booty on or catch a band - no charge. Fully admit I drink shitty light beer but they also have tons of drafts and bottles plus full bar. Love the bartenders and you'll even see the owners now & then. Varying drink specials I couldn't tell you as all bars do. Good mix of crowd - based soley on the fact that I have yet to see Douchey Frat guys...though for you boys always some skanks :) Early 20's to Old Man Al - won't reveal his age :) Mostly 20's and 30's. Smoke, smoke, and more smoke!! Poolies was hopping when we went and it offers a good amount of pool tables, about 5 dart boards, poker, and karaoke. The bartender was very nice and even remembered what I was drinking when I came up for a refill. My friends and I had a pretty good time. What I didn't like: The beer wasn't SUPER cheap, but maybe it is for the area idk, their happy hour is probably good. The Smoke smell was AWFUL; they definitely need a better air system in there. Only a few people were smoking but the smell was so intense my boyfriend and I went home and couldn't wait to brush our teeth (the taste was in our mouths and we don't smoke!). My hair still reeked of smoke the next day. It was ironic since we were talking about the smokiest smelling places we had ever been in, earlier that day. This place wins BY FAR (and yes we do frequent pool halls, bars, and other smoke friendly venues). The bathrooms were also dirty with the girls toilet being stopped up and the unisex one having cigarette butts and lighters on the floor (along with some urine courtesy of men who don't care to aim), still not the worst I've been in but then again I've been to Bourbon St. so..... I may return I might not, the smoke...well I don't think calling it a smell does it justice....might keep me from ever wanting to return. I went here today for the first time. It was not bad. They had a lot a pool tables available and the beer was really reasonably priced. The only bad thing about this place was that it smelled of smoke so bad, and being that I do not smoke, it was really hard for me to stay and enjoy myself. read more

Obviously no money is being put back into this place! The ventilation system must not being maintained if there is even on. I went on a Monday night @ 9:00pm there were maybe 20 people there. The smoke was so thick there was a haze in the whole bar. The pictures on the walls were yellow from the smoking. Nasty I can't imagine what the place would be like full of people. The place "Stinks" as in major smoke oder that knocks you on your ass. The rugs are like walking on a smoke, beer, sponge. Great pool tables and music but you will be ripping your clothes off at the front door when you get home. read more

if you go there in the early afternoon the smoke is tolerable. A lot of customers that go there to play pool complain about the smoke. I know people that refuse to go in there because of the smoke. I believe they would have more business if they made it a no-smoking establishment. read more

Go here and drink and play. Sometimes you get to watch a stabbing in the parking lot. It's great entertainment. Come at lunch, get drunk fast, your playing improves too so it seems. Can't remember for sure. You cant throw darts, play music like this, hard rock when they have rednecks in here, or country when it's teenagers, because neither can afford the juke box, it's a fortune to use. read more
