I bought a hot tub a year ago and there are so many issues with it that the tech has been to my house at least 10 times. Unfortunately, Pool Works doesn't appear to know how Jacuzzi hot tubs are supposed to work so getting it fixed has been a struggle to say the least. They don't even believe me when I tell them I'm having an issue. I need documented pictures and videos to even get them to come out to my house. It's not my fault they sold me a lemon. I expect them to honor the warranty but they appear to not want to do that. They also sold me a defective $500 water monitor. I was able to get Ideal Water Care to replace it but Pool Works didn't believe me that it was not working properly. They will take your money on a new product, but they will not stand by that product once the transaction is complete. And communication is terrible. They don't tell you when they are coming to your house and they don't respond in a timely fashion, or at all, to emails. This has been the most disappointing purchased and coustomer service experience of my life. I wish I just bought a CostCo hot tub instead. read more

I had great service from pool works when I come in to test my water and get chemicals; however I am very unhappy with the store this season and will not return when the issue is fixed! My pool was opened and leaves from the cover were dumped in, 4 weeks later Im still removing leaves and have poor water. I have called n' stopped in several times as I am using extra chemicals to work on the poor water, the store only issued a $50 credit despite charging me $250 to open! Its been a nightmare scooping leaves, and I still cant vacuum without issues :( very unhappy customer. read more

My kids intex pool broke so we decided to check this place out for another one being a pool store and all. I didn't realize it was run by a bunch of pool snobs. "Our pools start at $5000" I was told with a big grin. They could've maybe been nice enough to direct me as to where I could get one but no. Aside from that they came off very judgmental. Worst customer service of any company I have ever dealt with! We had them come out early this summer to do some routine maintenance and the tech wound up breaking a part that leads to the pump. After he left, we also noticed the skimmer lid was stuck on (5 different people tried to get it off and could not) so we had to have another tech come back to fix both of those issues. The second tech came out and fixed the part to the pump, but wound up CUTTING OFF the tabs that hold the skimmer lid in place - and put a rock on top of it to hold it on!!! WHAT THE HECK???? He didn't ask, he just CUT THEM OFF! I called to talk to "service manager Andy" who promised to look into it and call me back - no call. The next day we noticed another broken piece - called Andy again... NEVER RETURNED MY CALL! today I called Andy to follow up and he says his service guys did no wrong and they will not help us. period. end of story. We asked to speak to the owner - his voice mail is full. Called back to talk to Andy and he refused to come to the phone. To add insult to injury, we live 30 miles from the store and drove there today to pick up a new solar cover. We ordered and paid for a 27' round cover but they gave us a 24' round cover instead... they put it in the truck for us and we didn't notice until we got home! Now to waste another 60 mile round trip to fix another issue with this company! SERIOUSLY - WORST EVER! read more

Wouldn't recommend at all. Installed a new pool heater because the old one was bad (supposedly) new one is doing the same thing as the old one $3000 later and still cant use the heater. Was promised a call back from the service department to set up a time to fix and I am still waiting for a call back. Find another provider and save yourself the hassle. read more

I'm not a big reviewer here, but I've grown so frustrated with the staff here to not write. Yes, they have so much of what you could ever need for maintaining your pool. But the customer service people - particularly the men - couldn't seem more disinterested in helping. Distracted, half answers and no cordiality. And It hasn't been just this visit but practically every time I've been in. Ever. It's incredibly frustrating and off-putting. I need to stick with the place on the other side of town. It's not nearly as shiny or convenient, but at least they seem to value my business. read more

Had a pool growing up as a kid and was worried about all the maintenance. Decided we wanted a hot tub and their staff took the time to help us find the right one for us and how to make it easy to maintain. Delivery and setup was great and love their service when take water in for testing (free). read more

Had a very negative experience here today. we called to check to see if they offered tile in stock and two women stated yes, depending on what we pick. We drove out of our way here specifically to pick up in stock tile. In store, we worked with Two people for 30 minutes to check stock for us and found one we liked! As we are about to purchase, they tell us that all in stock tile is reserved for current projects and we cannot buy any tiles at all unless it's special ordered. Really terrible service to not tell us this on the phone and in person for 30 minutes!! I wouldn't recommend this store. read more

Bought a pool late last summer. Installers were about a month behind with all the rain. Called Pool Works, was assured pool was fine there and to just call a week before installation for delivery. I called to have it delivered and was told they SOLD it. So they had to reorder it. WHAT #1 why won't you reorder immediately! So much for swimming this summer. Lessen to anyone ordering from Pool Works, when it arrives have it delivered!!! read more

It astounds me that this business has so little interest in providing the services they profess to offer. Our pool has been out of commission all summer. We have changed out water twice upon assurance of a fix, only to have to shut the system down and see the water degrade as we wait for them to reschedule another visit. They have missed appointments, and rescheduled for a week later. They have changed out parts, and have been paid, only to find out those parts were not the cause of the problem. Last week we notified them that the valving was still malfunctioning, and were told that they would not be able to address the problem for "4-5 weeks due to being low on tech staff". They exhibit no sense of professional responsibility, and seem completely unconcerned that they have failed at repairs. They would get one star but for a visit where they were great on a structural repair. read more
