Highly recommend this wonderful company! Please bear with this lengthy review, however there were a lot of factors involved in this)
We were making a move from the Green Bay area to South Florida and undecided if we should get a mover, PODS, Uhaul etc. Not only did we have to take the cost into consideration, but time frame of the move, how much heavy lifting we would be capable of doing, if we'd have to hire extra people at each end of the move to do the lifting, etc. We also learned that many of the "moving companies" were actually just brokers. (Note: make sure to check ALL reviews! And start with the low star ratings and the specific details of those ratings!) We received quotes that were ridiculously high and ridiculously low. I kept looking, and calling and comparing. I'm not sure how the Moving Knights ad/number suddenly appeared after weeks of looking at movers, but it did and I am so very thankful. Angel contacted me, assured me that not only were they the actual moving company, he would be one of the movers picking up and delivering our possessions. He went over everything and also suggested a walk through because we had so many things that I was uncertain about taking. The day of our appointment Angel had a family emergency. Eddie came in his place. He was very professional and thorough. We received the quote which was itemized and very well written out. A two hour window for the move date was given. Unfortunately, they were delayed. That being said, both Angel and Eddie kept in contact and apologized for the delay. When they showed up there were five guys in the crew. We were so impressed with such a great team! They were very polite, joked around with each other while working hard and efficiently, and were constantly in motion wrapping things up securely, marking each item, etc. Everything got loaded up and we met Angel and Eddie down here in S. Florida on the agreed upon date. (They made sure to give us updates throughout their trip down here for their ETA) These two guys worked very hard (after driving for two days!) and got everything into our new home. There was minimal damage to items (which was due to how WE packed those items.) Everyone from this entire team was a delight to work with, and although their price wasn't the least expensive, it was way more than a fair quote that we were able to work with. And honestly, had we gone the PODS or UHaul route, we would've still had the added expenses of hiring people to help load and unload (and not even know who we were getting!)
