In the meantime, Bret has been great about keeping it going as well as possible. On top of this, the trees planted around the pool are terrible choices in terms of pool maintenance--they drop loads of pine needles, pollen balls, sycamore pods, berries, and other debris into both the pool and spa. We sometimes have ducks that leave feathers (and even once a duck egg at the bottom of the pool!). Oh, and we also have bumble bees living right next to the pool equipment and a toddler who likes to throw rocks where they shouldn't be. Bret is extremely patient with all these quirks. He is also extremely knowledgeable and reliable. Recently, part of our vacuum system broke in a puzzling way, and before its life had really run its course. Bret worked with the company representative to get it replaced for free, which was a big help. The next week, a rat chewed through wires in our spa heater. Bret replaced the wires (which required finding the appropriate replacement parts at a motorcycle shop) and cleaned out the rat nest. 100% recommend.

He came out to assess the issue and determined there were two things (pipe leak and pool heater requiring service) that needed service and/or repair. He explained he could repair the leak but not the heater due to the complexity involved . Instead, he preferred to pass and have someone who can take care of both so that I don't have deal with two parties and be able to get a price break if one person/company handled the job. I was pleasantly surprised. Next, he suggested a trustworthy, local (for me) company in Arcadia he'd like to refer and will send me the information. Within 10-15 minutes, I get a text from him sharing that he made a call to the owner, described the issues found, and confirmed they can handle both. All I needed to do was call and schedule the service. All of it was done within a week. I would've gladly given Marco the job simply based on one thing - Putting the client's best interest in mind FIRST. That is rare to come by nowadays based on the companies I've dealt with in the last few months. Regardless, I wouldn't have able to get this done within a week if it weren't for Marco's first-class service and connections.
