He's the best of everything rolled into one. He's kind he cares he's intelligent and he's Fair. I had to bring my son and they offered him snack and drinks and let him sit in his own area to play video games as he could not come back with me to get my shot. JOSH -offered me water and snacks and explained the surgery in detail and reassured me of how easy and virtually painless procedure that it was and how quick it would be. Dr. Melikian, a spine specialist, saw me for neck/shoulder pain. Despite bringing neck X-rays/MRIs, he quickly identified shoulders as the primary issue (limited rotation vs. decent neck mobility) and referred me to Dr. Shore. He never rushed me, always ensured I had no more questions, and his assistant Joanna was phenomenal--one of the best I've encountered. She performed quick but detailed tests (grip strength, rotation, tender points) and genuinely cared, helping shift focus to my shoulder effectively. Dr. Vivek Babaria (pain management) treated chronic neck tightness and cervical radiculopathy. In 2023, he did facet joint injections; in 2025, an epidural steroid injection (C5-C7 herniations) that finally helped with issues where neck pain was keeping me from sleeping. His newer assistant Hank in late 2025 was equally impressive, starting with conservative treatment when I brought an MRI showing mild shoulder tendinosis/bursitis, prescribing PT and baclofen, then noting clear posture/pain improvement at month follow-up. They did not overtreat and go straight to another injection which was nice. From imaging reviews to injections and conservative care, everyone at DISC stands out for attentiveness and expertise.
