This by far is the best pet grooming experience in the Houston area, very friendly loving groomers with real love for the animals. My Teddy has always been treated with TlC and he's so happy to get there and looks like a million dollars when I pick him up. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! I brought my poodle/bichon mix in this week and had the best experience. The ladies working there were kind, timely and professional. Adorable cut AND my pup is so happy, he's been prancing around since since I picked him up!! Who doesn't like to feel beautiful?!?! I do not recommend Pooch n Pups. My puppy has gone to this groomer every six week since being 5 months old. On 1/15/20 my dog was injured here when they cut his paw pads. When I went to pick him up, I paid ($70) and was given my dog without any mention of the incident. We get home and my dog is playing for a few minutes and I notice that he starts licking his paws. When I looked at the ground there was bloody paw prints all over my floor and his paw was bleeding profusely. There was a deep cut in his paw that would bleed every time he ran or put pressure on it. I ended up having to take him to the vet so that they could glue the cut closed. His vet even commented that the cut was really deep. I called Pooch n Pups to let them know what occurred to see how they would resolve things. They never apologized or took any blame for injuring my puppy. I mentioned taking him to the vet and they never asked how he was doing. They did not care what happened to him.I would not recommend anyone to take their dogs here. I understand that groomers work on live animals with sharp tools, accidents do happen. But it is paramount that the owners be informed, at the time they collect their pet if not sooner. read more

First time here. My husband didn't know what to expect. He said the staff was friendly, they asked all the right questions & made sure they knew how he wanted the dogs groomed. The impressive part is when I got home... my dogs Bronze & Crystal were absolutely adorable, with their precise haircuts and clean grooming. Nice touch with the ribbon and bow tie too In addition, they smelled great and my maltipoo did not have any redness on her sensitive pink skin. This is the only groomers I will take my fur babies to. Miley is amazing. She takes care of all the dogs with TLC. My babies are always so happy when it's time for me to pick them up. They seem to never be in stress or anxious. I'm so happy I found this place. They even make homemade snacks. Everytime I go, I want to get everything in the store (no joke). Yelpers, I know it isn't easy trusting just any groomers. But trust me. Your babies will be in great hands. I love this place and I wouldn't trust anyone else with my dog! Their grooming skills are the absolute best (I've always had standard poodles so I know a good grooming job when I see it). My dog always comes back smelling great, looking exceptionally dapper, and most importantly happy. They can be super creative with their cuts and they always follow instructions when I'm specific about what I want. Not to mention their pricing is super reasonable. When my dog broke his leg my vet advised that I not take him to a groomer because he could slip on the table or be treated carelessly and have an accident. I disregarded his advice because I knew how great Pooch N Pups is. They followed all safety precautions, gave him appropriate breaks during his grooming and really gave him the extra attention he needed. I am so thankful to have found a place that does such a great job and truly treats my dog like he was their own. read more

They always do a great job every time I have been there. Not too pricey for the work that they do. I know how hard of a job it is for me to bathe and cut my dogs thick hair so it's worth it. I really liked this place. We went this passed weekend for my pups first haircut & they did exactly what I asked. It was my puppy's first groom, and she did great with him. He desperately needed a cut and looks so much better with a neat trim! There were some uneven and rough patches, especially behind the ears and the underbelly area. I could feel it when I rub my fingers through those areas, it was not as smooth as it could be. But overall, he looks great and smells wonderful. It was easy to book and the price was reasonable. We would use again. read more

My family and I have taken our fur baby to Pooch N pups grooming a few times, but today will be the last visit ever! Normally we would pay $11.00 for a toenail trim my husband went by himself to take our fur baby and obviously he didn't know any better to ask questions but we were charge $27.06 for a toenail trim, they lost a customer. Ripping your customers off is not good for your business. read more
