I came across this park and came looking for a nice peaceful, afternoon walk and that's exactly what I got. I will be definitely coming again!.

It's a calm, quiet oasis, filled with beautiful flowers and bushes and greens until it isn't. The playground here has a full swing set, and a decent sturdy slide and climbing platform. Plenty of places to sit in solitude or among others. Tons of hidden nooks and crannies with seating including a Lilly pod pond. Huge space for dogs to run. Hidden and on up high is a larger pond that must be filled with fresh water fish. Lots and lots and lots of shade. Perfect area for a picnic. Very very clean and safe.

The park is 200 yards from "chain bridge" (first suspension bridge in America) in Newburyport. The 18-acre wooded park is an easy 1.1-mile loop on the Merrimack River with lots of trees for shade on hot days. Moseley offers a playground, benches, picnic tables, and porta potties. When hiking on the trails be careful of exposed tree roots and parts of the trail that can be a bit steep by the river.

What a treasure. My…read moreson brought me here a cold early morning to meet the birds. We went and when we stood still and help some bird food in our hands, they came and ate out of them. The trails are well kept up and so good to be around. We found some of the layered ice pieces that look like Lacey ice. This is a great outing, even if you are not from around here. The dozens of species of birds are not shy; the frogs, turtles, rabbits, red squirrels, chipmunks, etc., aren't all that shy either! It has a nicely set up learning center ( and classes) for kids, plus canoes for rental if that's your thing. Mandatory warnings: use bug spray and, especially, wear long pants to ward off ticks. And be prepared for a slightly tricky narrow road ending in an often-crowded parking lot. As for the cost: get yourself an Audubon membership and entry will be free, plus you'll be supporting good conservation work.

This dog park is just ok…read more I don't like that there isn't a water fountain for the dogs. It also doesn't have two separate sections; one for the large and small dogs. It is however surrounded by trees, so there is shade provided if the sun happens to beat down that day. It's located in a very wealthy area, but when I went only 1 dog was there. Maybe I just went at the wrong time. Would I go back: I will give it a total of 3x's before deciding to ditch the place and look for another dog park.

It opened up in the summer of 2018 and is definitely CLEAN. It has a fake grass area about 75 feet long and the park itself easily stretches 200 feet long, which is mainly gravel. There are actually barrels here to throw away your poo and there is running water both in the big dog park along with the smaller dog area. Some people will leave behind balls but definitely bring a toy if your dog tends to play well with others when they have them. Oh and you also don't need to bring your own doggie bags if you don't want to since they are provided. I'm not sure what more you could ask for. Almost everything you would ever need is provided for you and it has ample parking. It was the perfect addition to Burlington, bring your pupper down for a little play time!
