It opened up in the summer of 2018 and is definitely CLEAN. It has a fake grass area about 75 feet long and the park itself easily stretches 200 feet long, which is mainly gravel. There are actually barrels here to throw away your poo and there is running water both in the big dog park along with the smaller dog area. Some people will leave behind balls but definitely bring a toy if your dog tends to play well with others when they have them. Oh and you also don't need to bring your own doggie bags if you don't want to since they are provided. I'm not sure what more you could ask for. Almost everything you would ever need is provided for you and it has ample parking. It was the perfect addition to Burlington, bring your pupper down for a little play time!

The surface was covered in weeds. It appeared to be mowed though since the weeds weren't tall. There are not any poop bags available on site. We bring poop bags with us wherever we go but apparently this is not true of all visitors to this park. There was one large trash bin at the entrance to the park. The separate trash container for dog poop was completely open on the bottom so could not be used for trash. Suggestion: at a minimum post signs about dog owners need to clean up poop.

Plus with tons of other dogs there, he would work himself into a frenzy. However, there were countless water bowls and sprinklers for the dogs to stay cool and we ended up being there over an hour with no trouble at all! The dog owners were all very pleasant, and we didn't run across any 'unruly' animals anywhere. I will definitely be making this an annual event.

The only downfall that I've ever experienced is when people who own small dogs bring them into the large dog side (happened every time I've ever gone). When getting to the top of Holt hill, you will be amazed by the Boston skyline without occlusion. Compared to the breathtaking view at Holt hill, the one at the top of Boston hill slightly disappoints me. It is still an enjoyable walk surrounded by the view of the sunset, but the skyline is missing. You may not get too much out of the elephant rock. Again, overall it is a fantastic place for walking, jogging, and biking.

Things you can do: - see the sun stones! this is an easy route but it is up a hill - elephant rock! honestly it's just a rock, it isn't anything amazing but it is along one of the longer routes. - scenic overlooks of boston skyline! see attached pic I really commend those who marked the trails. It's really easy to follow and not get lost! Highly suggest checking it out :)
