My experience from this office was phenomenal and unbelievably stress free! Dr. Braillie deserves the highest award for his professional and calming demeanor. Since the procedure I have had zero pain and zero negative side effects. I would give him 10 Stars for his proficiency and expertise in his field. Also, Lexi, his assistant, is incredibly knowledgeable and caring during the procedure. Also , she was very good at explaining do's and don'ts after the procedure. I had an overwhelmingly positive experience, thanks to this office! I highly recommend anyone who needs any periodontal services, let the professionals at Flagstaff Peridontal do the work for you! .

My general dentist thought I might have a periodontal problem which was causing some aching so he referred me here. The office staff are very friendly and I might go back just to hang out in the waiting room. It's very comfortable so my wife was able to hang out. The dental assistant was also friendly and professional and got me all set-up. Dr. Pontip Baillie was simply a delight. She explained everything as we went along and determined that I didn't have any periodontal issues and felt that an endodontist should be my next stop (i.e., I needed a root canal). There's an endodontist in the same office park but they weren't answering their phone so she had one of her staff members walk over and book me an appointment for the same day. How's that for service?

I will not be going to this dentist again. He is rude and disrespectful to his staff, and he was…read morerude and disrespectful to me, the patient. There is little that irks me as much as someone who is rude to their support staff. I suspect these are the same types of people who are rude to waiters and other people in service professions. As an attorney, I have my own support staff and frankly, they are the ones who keep my office running and I try to do everything I can to enable them to do their best. I can't imagine ever talking to them the way he spoke to his staff. It's unfortunate because the staff at this office is great, they are always friendly and welcoming. They deserve to be treated with respect and Dr. Rodda does not. So, what happened? Because of the pandemic, I'm working from home and helping my daughter with virtual school. A meeting ran late, I live outside Flagstaff and on my way into town, I ran into traffic problems. I called the office to make sure that it was OK that I was late, otherwise I'd reschedule. If I had to reschedule, I would have totally understood. If I have appointments with clients and they are 15+ minutes late, they have to reschedule. So, again, it would have been completely understandable if they wanted me to reschedule. But they said it was fine, so I came in. The hygienist brought me back very quickly and she was very friendly, efficient and competent. Literally every single person at this office, except Dr. Rodda, is awesome. Towards the end of my appointment, Dr. Rodda came in and proceeded to chastise the hygienist for being behind schedule, in front of me! It wasn't her fault. I found his behavior to be mean-spirited and unprofessional. And then he rudely told me to put my phone down and when I told him that I'd been late, he said I needed to focus on my teeth. What? I was just trying to explain that it wasn't the hygienist's fault that I was late. The other time I had a negative experience was about a year ago after I'd had a gum graft and I was freaking out because it looked like zombie flesh (which I found out is normal). My periodontist is in Sedona, so I went in to Dr. Rodda. He was very condescending, insensitive and rude, telling me to "calm down" like I was a child having a temper tantrum. Really? How about addressing the patient's concerns in a thoughtful way instead of being a jerk? When I had my follow-up with the periodontist, he was a shining example of how a doctor should treat his patients. The periodontist told me it was normal for the gum graft to look the way it did and it was also completely normal for me to be freaking out, since I'd never had one and I didn't know any better. It was 180° from the way I was treated by Dr. Rodda. It seems as if Dr. Rodda views his patients and his office staff as expendable. Well, my latest visit was my last because it was the second time I visited this office and Dr. Rodda was rude and disrespectful. There are too many other dentists in the area to put up with one who clearly doesn't appreciate my business and treats his support staff so terribly.

I'm a huge coffee drinker (6 cups a day is normal for me) and unfortunately I can see my teeth dulling with all of the dark drinks. I called around and spoke to Jessica at Country Club Dental. She was extremely friendly and knowledgeable about my questions. They have a great special running (Sinsational Smile Whitening for $99), so I decided to try it. They were able to get me in very quickly. I called on a Thursday and my appointment was for today, a Monday, so the wait time was non-existent. I got into the office which was clean and I was welcomed by the two office workers. Jessica helped me with the Sinsational Smile procedure. It was painless, there's no sensitivity, and she ensured I was very comfortable with a neck pillow while I waited the 40 minutes under the whitening light. The 40 minutes went by quickly as I browsed articles on my phone, I rinsed and checked out with the take-home whitening pen and tray. I see enough of a difference to make me feel as though it was worth it (it's not an earth-shattering difference, but then again I paid only $99 for it), and I'm interested to see the continued difference after the recommended 2 weeks of the whitening pen. My experience was a very positive one for teeth whitening!

Before my appointment I hadn't had pain in my teeth for years. Went in for a basic cleaning which turned into a filling which I don't think I really needed. I was forced to get x-rays even though I didn't want them and was told it was "for liability reasons". Um... Ok. I'm just here for a cleaning. And to top it off, they said they called my insurance on the day of the appointment to confirm that the work was covered (because at the time my insurance was from California as I was a CA resident) and told me I was covered. Then I get a call (actually several calls) from them a few months later telling me I owe them money. It was nice to get a cookie on the way out. And yes, they were really nice.
