Had a rather complex issue with a tooth that had already been root canal'd. Dr Tagle and his team handled it with great care and experience. When going into surgery they asked my preferred music, and really enjoyed the reggae with me while surgery was performed. Have you ever wanted to waste $135.00? If so, go here! You will walk in, be seen for approximately 6 minutes, and without scans or anything further, poof- $135.00 owed! You may also ask them if they accept your insurance. You will provide your information for them to check. They will claim they did, but alas after speaking to your insurance provider- they do not in fact work together and as your provider explains; that is basic information that ANY dental office would be able to gather prior to your visit. If you're looking for superior treatment, and you need a root canal, don't settle for anyone less than Dr. Alaina Leiendecker. Unlike the other doc at Flag Endodontics, Dr. Leiendecker provides nitrous oxide if you're extremely anxious in the dentist chair like I am. An amazing group of people, I love this office! Staff was very friendly and fast! I was able to get in for a root canal the same day my regular dentist referred me. Staff was very accommodating to my 4 year old who I had to pick up from preschool before being squeezed into a late day appt slot. The provider was very direct and straightforward, which I love in a provider. Estimated cost was ready for me and I paid at the end of my visit. I was referred here when my original dentist couldn't finish my root canal due to complications. I was definitely worried when I saw the low rating on here. But WOW, what a great experience! Thank you Dr. Tagle! PROS -I was originally given an appointment 3 weeks out, but after calling and explaining that I was traveling they were able to get me in within a few days when others cancelled. -Dr. Tagle was so great! Friendly, funny and extremely skilled. -NO PAIN AT ALL during the root canal. -Massaging treatment chairs! -They let you pick the Pandora station to listen to (country for me!) -Beautiful office and friendly staff. CONS -It is expensive, but you get what you pay for. I paid $1,380 out of pocket (no dental insurance) for my root canal. Would I do it again to have a pain-free, pleasant experience? YES! read more

Regardless what you read on here, I had a wonderful experience at Flagstaff Endodontics, doctor Leindecker was amazing and so was her assistants, from the moment I walked in the door I felt welcomed and taken care of. The worst part of the appointment was keeping my mouth open for over an hour. General anesthetic was painless and they numbed me up well to the point I didn't feel a thing. I had two root canals done on two consecutive days, and didn't feel a spot of discomfort from either. Recovery was painless as well. A week later and my mouth feels great. We traveled to Flagstaff on vacation and my wife had a really bad toothache and we were able to make an appointment at Flagstaff endodontics and specifically Dr. Tagle. His staff got my wife an appointment even though we didn't have one and spent four hours with her and did a great job and relieved her pain. I was referred to Dr. Tagle for a root canal, and as a very nervous dental patient I was incredibly apprehensive. Turns out I had nothing to worry about! Dr. Tagle was understanding and has a very calming presence. I never felt pain during the procedure or afterward. The cost was typical for this kind of procedure and the staff was very up front about what I would be paying out-of-pocket. I created a yelp account just to write this review of Flagstaff Endodontics. I called Flagstaff Endodontics looking for an afternoon appointment, and they were able to book me less than a week out from my call. They assessed the affected tooth with a quick x-ray and began the procedure within half an hour of me walking through the door. This is my second root canal (hopefully my last), and I was thoroughly pleased with the procedure. Dr. Tagle and his staff made me feel totally at ease even though my last root canal was really painful. He explained the procedure and assured me that the hardest part would be "getting you numb". Truly the most uncomfortable part of the procedure was the needle full of novocaine, but he was skilled and professional. They accepted my insurance (MetLife Dental) even though the practice was not listed on my insurance company's directory of providers. read more

Dishonest, This practice doesn't tell you that they are NOT contracted with your Insurance. They MISLEAD you and say "oh we take MetLife" But they don't tell you "we are not contracted with MetLife" therefore they are "out of network" = patients get stuck paying difference from what Insurance will reimburse....$800 billed to patient! Never again will they have my business and since I work in Healthcare industry, everyone I know will learn this from a very dissatisfied and disappointed Patient. read more

They only care about money. They take advantage Flagstaff having little to no options for an endodontist. Call your insurance company and find a preferred contractor for your plan. A trip to Prescott or Phoenix will save you hundreds of dollars. read more
