I found this company through Craigslist and was a little effy because Craigslist could be a scam but the owner Ann had their own insurance and this business going on for years. She was able to manage a price that fit my budget. There's the best part, I been calling so many ponies rentals and petting zoo and you are NOT going to get a deal as great as ANN's PONIES FOR PARTY RENTALS. She offered not 1 but 2 ponies PLUS 2 choices of pig, sheep, goat, and other animal. This worked out so perfectly because for under $250 you wouldn't be able to get petting zoo and 2 ponies for riding. 2 kids on ponies and other kids playing with the sheep and goat was perfect. She washed the animals ahead of time so they all came cleaned and she can dress them up to fit your birthday or party theme. I rented the animals for my boyfriend's nephew 5th birthday and boy was it worth every cents. Kids went crazy over it. :) The reasons why I highly recommend this place: 1. They were early/come on time 2. Animals were clean and they cleaned up after the animals as the day went on. 3. they aren't in a rush when your time is up and made sure all of the kids rode at least once. ( kids really went 4-5x) 4. They have 3 people watching the kids 5. They let me hop on the pony:) 6. We were able to take a bunch of picture even though our time was up. 7. She gave me a discount and included extra animals. 4 animals for a price of 1:) 8. Very affordable! 9. Friendly and helpful staff who enjoyed the kids. 10. I was a little disappointed that I did not get my white pony but when I called the pony was already booked. I had my event in my sisters house which had ample space for my guest but for the ponies it was challenging to get their trucks park because there wasn't any parking available. Ann and her ponies, and her DARLING sheep (which included a baby lamb too!), and goat were here yesterday (2/27/16) for our son's 3rd birthday party. And it was an absolute hoot! My son really loves farm animals - animals in general - and this is a great way to entertain 3-5-year-olds without having to "entertain" them, if you know what I mean. We got two ponies - which was a nice surprise, I thought the deal was only for one, so that was an unexpected pleasure. I would definitely recommend Ann for you party - with one caveat - and the reason that this review only gets a 4/5 stars.... The ponies were 45 minutes late...which, in the grand scheme of things, I think made little difference, except for, three-year-olds don't really do "waiting."But no big deal really. But also, and this is kind of a big BUT, after being 45 minutes late, during the first 10 minutes of our introduction, there was no "Hi! I'm Ann! I'm so sorry we're late, can you please show me where you would like to set up?" instead, she kind of just tromped into the yard and quickly became very upset that we had an avocado tree. She kept complaining that "the animals will die! avocado leaves are POISONOUS TO ANIMALS! the animals will die!" This really put my guests off quickly. I offered to pick up the leaves (which were 95% picked up anyway), but then she offered "and what if one falls? then the animals will die! THEY'LL DIE!" I offered to move the entire party to the front, I tried everything to make accommodations...and eventually a solution was found and the party went on, and all was good. SO, **** WARNING*****IF YOU HAVE AN AVOCADO TREE in your yard, you better tell Ann. You should also become an overnight expert on all flora and fauna potentially poisonous to farm animals, and be prepared to give her a full run down, even if she doesn't ask what trees or flowers you might have in your yard. But like I said, except for the tardiness and the initial rudeness, we really enjoyed Ann and her ponies and the sheep and the goat and would recommend her. read more

Absolutely phenomenal experience!!! They were on time. Had put in so much work for the unicorns to looks absolutely beautiful! French braided hair and bows, glitter hearts, brushed, stunning horses. I had Ponies for Parties bring ponies and petting animals to my daughter's first birthday back in April. I got the idea from a friend who had a farm theme for her son but she couldn't find the phone number to the company that she used so I found Ann through Craigslist. I couldn't be happier that I found her I thought that her animals were better cared for and cleaner that the ones at my friend's party. We had Ponies for Parties at my daughter's My Little Pony party and they were a big hit! The party was in a residential area in Alhambra. They took the kids on rides down the street and along the side-walk. We had 30 kids at the party and they were able to do 2 rides for all the kids that wanted a second ride in the hour they were there. My daughter's wishes came true, thanks to Ann and her team. My daughter has wished for a real unicorn, and to ride a horse, on every dandelion, eyelash, candles, over the past year, and Ann made it possible with two unicorns (beautiful white pony and brown horse). The unicorns were tastefully decorated with hearts and braided manes (and gold horns), but not overdone. My kiddo absolutely loved riding the unicorns (especially the horse). It made for an amazing 5th birthday party - the guests loved it! The handlers were careful, sweet, and caring towards both the animals and the children - really professional. The added bonus sheep and goat were super cute. Ann was wonderful on the days leading up to the party while I was fretting over the forecast (it stopped raining just in time).
