I've owned my custom pair of ostrich boots for over 7 years, a present from my wife for my 50th birthday. The good; the experience of fitting was detailed as could be. Wide selection of leathers, and for inlays and monograms they didn't nickel and dime me. They weren't cheap, but they were half the price and half the wait of Leddy's across the street. Also, folks, these boots are built like a brick outhouse, heavy and sturdy, unlike some flimsy custom boots I've seen. Double rows of lemon pegs, the shaft is sewn from a single piece of leather, not two like most boots. Also, I've worn the heck out of them and the attached picture is current, they still look next to new. My son and his son will still be wearing these long after I'm gone. The not-so-good, and I'm being picky; they didn't take credit card. No big deal but just a hassle. We picked out the boots in August and the storefront is as rustic and authentic as you can imagine, but at the time there was no AC. If you go in the summer be prepared to sweat. Also, the fit is slightly tighter than I'd like, especially in the toe box where I requested additional room, that clearly didn't happen. My Lucchese's I can walk for miles and miles with no discomfort, after all day in these I'm ready to take them off. If you can afford the Leddy's or Lucchese experience and have 12-18 months to wait, you'll likely end up with a more refined pair of boots. But if you're looking for the best value I've ever seen in boots with half the wait time, and the sturdiest pair in the marketplace, this is your spot. I wish there was room for a fractional star, I'd rate them about a 4.2 but I rounded down. Buy from here with confidence!

    Poor craftsmanship...‍

Leather turned "pleather"...Do not recommend. I brought a pair of Justin boots to have the leather darkened. A nice pair of square toe boots, only worn a few times. Solid boots, I just thought they were a little too light of leather for my liking. The result: I guess I felt that "experts" in leather, they would handle accordingly. Came back to pick them up, much to my chagrin, they literally spray-painted the boots with a gloss finish. I paid $30 for the "improvement", and proceeded straight to Goodwill with a new pair of boots. Quality leather turned pleather. I was sick.

I think we'll head to the store where they were bought though and ask them to help us This store is an utter joke! My husband was given a pair of Vans for Christmas and they didn't fit. He took them to the store in the box with tags in less than 2 less weeks after Christmas. We went in to get a new size and they immediately wanted to know if we had the receipt which unfortunately we didn't. They said they couldn't exchange them or give him any credit. He called his norther and she couldn't find the receipt so they were not able to do anything. The front desk person kept calling Cody, the manager to the front. Finally he came out. He was eating cookies the entire time talking to us and offered no understanding but wanted to argue with me that their store has one of the most lenient policies. Which I mentioned Nordstrom's he wanted to tell me Nordstrom's marks their products up. I felt the need to explain to him and show him how Nordstrom's actually price matches if they know it's cheaper somewhere else online or you can call them and have them look up a website to price match. Point being, severe lack of customer service and we certainly didn't leave with any desire to EVER return....to any location of th

The person who helped us, I believe his name was Ronaldo, was incredibly patient and helpful. They were busy when we first arrived, so it took a little while before someone could assist us, but once he did, he took his time answering all of our questions and never made us feel rushed. We also did the foot test to better understand what type of running shoes would work best for us, which was really helpful. They have a great selection of shoes, along with some clothing, gels, and running accessories. They didn't have all the colors I was looking for, but Ronaldo explained that they could order them online, which was nice. My only wish is that the store were a little bigger because I would love to see an even larger selection in person. But honestly, the customer service makes up for it. They really focus on one customer at a time, take the time to understand what you need, and don't rush you into a purchase. Overall, such a great experience. I'll definitely be coming back and would absolutely recommend this Fleet Feet location to other runners!

The owner was so nice!, It's a black owned business, he's also a fashion designer as well as an artist! Walking in you automatically are in a daze with all of the record selection, now the records on the walls are not for sale, but they were really cool to look at. He has tons of artwork that are actually made by local artists. And all of the records that he has in the store or his own collection. He has old school new school, tons of varieties. Is it a record store? A clothing store? A skate shop? Unfortunately there is not enough of any of those things to really be able to tell which. The records weren't cataloged in any reasonably intelligible way. There was older vinyl mixed with newly pressed vinyl. There is a full section dedicated to Ray Charles or so it seemed until you went 3 covers deep and started seeing recent artists. Disorganized and confusing. The clothes were pretty much the same, I liked them but if you didn't like the style you would be disappointed. The shoes were solid, I'm a fan. There were skate decks hanging along the walls and while the graphics were nice I wasn't sure if you could buy them as no price was listed on the one I checked. I also didn't see anything else you would need to actually skate. No hardware, grip, trucks, bearings, wheels, just skate decks. I know that some people use them as art to decorate their place but it just adds another layer of confusion to an already confusing place. I can see that the other reviews are great so I suppose I will just have to be the bad guy here. Would I ever shop here again? Pass...
