DIAMOND STAR REVIEW FOR POND PARADISE DESIGNS
There are contractors, there are specialists, and then there is Robert Riccardo and Pond Paradise Designs--a company that truly sets the gold standard for pond and waterfall design, restoration, and maintenance throughout Long Island and the surrounding areas.
After more than a decade of enjoying the beautiful pond Robert originally designed and built for us, it was time for a complete pond cleanout. Once again, Robert and his outstanding crew exceeded every expectation and reminded us why he is regarded as one of the very best in the industry.
From the moment the project began, Robert demonstrated all the qualities that define a world-class pond and waterfall professional: expert knowledge, integrity, craftsmanship, attention to detail, reliability, professionalism, creativity, honesty, and a genuine passion for creating and maintaining living aquatic ecosystems. His experience is immediately evident in every recommendation he makes and every step his crew takes.
What impressed me most was the extraordinary care shown toward my treasured koi collection. I have many mature koi as well as over 100 baby koi, and Robert and his crew handled every fish with the utmost care and respect. Their patience, gentleness, and expertise were remarkable. Throughout the entire cleanout process, they carefully protected each and every fish, ensuring that not a single one was harmed. For any pond owner who truly values their aquatic life, this level of dedication is priceless.
The transformation of the pond itself was nothing short of spectacular. Over the years, layers of muck, debris, and buildup had accumulated throughout the pond. Robert's crew meticulously removed years of sediment and restored the pond to its original beauty. The boulders, river rock, and waterfalls literally came back to life. The natural colors and textures hidden beneath years of buildup are once again visible, and the water is now so crystal clear that I can see all the way to the bottom of the pond.
Equally impressive is Robert's ability to stay ahead of the industry. Rather than simply performing the cleanout, he took the time to evaluate my existing filtration system and recommended a state-of-the-art new filter box that will provide even greater water clarity, efficiency, and long-term performance than the excellent system I originally purchased from him over ten years ago. That commitment to continuous improvement and utilizing the latest technology is exactly what separates great contractors from true leaders.
What makes Robert stand out above everyone else is that he combines the skills of a designer, engineer, biologist, craftsman, and artist. He understands water flow, filtration, fish health, ecosystem balance, aesthetics, stone placement, construction quality, and long-term pond sustainability better than anyone I have encountered. Every recommendation is based on what is best for the customer and the health of the pond--not on making a sale.
In an industry where trust, expertise, and experience are everything, Robert Riccardo has earned our complete confidence for more than a decade. His workmanship is second to none, his crew is professional and courteous, his communication is excellent, and the pride they take in their work is evident in every detail.
Without hesitation, I can say that Pond Paradise Designs is the premier pond and waterfall company in all of Long Island and the surrounding communities. If you want breathtaking results, unmatched craftsmanship, exceptional customer service, and the peace of mind that comes from working with the very best, Robert Riccardo is the only call you need to make.
We give Pond Paradise Designs our highest possible recommendation and a well-deserved Five-Star Diamond Rating.
Sincerely,
Anthony Margiotta
