The renovated rooms are very clean and the beds comfortable. Lots of nice planters and areas to sit outside your room and enjoy the mountain air. Only downsides are that there are no pet friendly rooms and they have bright lights outside that keep the rooms illuminated inside at night. I would stay here again, but because of the no pet policy will have to look elsewhere.

There is also a well-marked trail on the property, for those who wish to commune with nature. Cheesemaking classes are also available. If you want your room to be serviced make sure you ask for it because they only service rooms upon demand. The breakfast is passable, but minimal. There will always be some sort of egg, some sort of sausage, and some sort of potato. Along with that the usual bread and bagels to toast, juices, yogurt, cold cereals, waffle maker. Biggest complaints have to do with the room water and heating / Cooling. The water pressure was good, but sometimes he would turn the water on and get scalding water for one minute and then get nothing but lukewarm water the entire rest of your shower. There really was no consistency and even if you did get the temperature just right it would probably change within a minute or two. Ended up taking a lot of warm showers not hot showers. The other issue has to do with the heating and cooling in the rooms. They are still using the kind of old style console Heating and Cooling system, and you have to actually choose whether to heat or cool so if you're in that weird window where sometimes you need to heat up sometimes you need to cool you have to manually do it. And even when you do set it it's very questionable as to whether the thermostat is accurate and whether you'll ever actually achieve the temperature you set.

I was excited to visit the motor lodge, and had heard great things from friends who had stayed here in the past. I was pleasantly surprised at how incredibly well-kept and clean the place was, and how inviting the staff was. I stayed in the Pee Wee Airstream, and it was clean, spacious for one person, and so comfortable. I felt completely safe and cozy, and despite their being a shared bathroom for all of the Airstreams, it was never inconvenient during my stay. I didn't have my dog for this trip, but am hoping to make another trip down there with her and would love to stay here again!

They are SOOOO dog friendly and she gave some lovin's to my dog right away and offered some treats. Bed is comfortable and toiletries are great. The dispensable kind so you don't have to worry about little bottles everywhere. I would stay here again 100% and I haven't even gotten to sleep yet. I'm sure the rest of my stay will be great!! And then, just when we thought it couldn't get better--BAM! A pull-out couch that turns into ANOTHER king bed. It's like the hotel version of a magic trick! Smack in the middle of the room? A round table for four--perfect for meals, card games, or intense negotiations over who gets the best pillow. And the fun doesn't stop there! The play area was basically an amusement park disguised as a hotel: darts, arcade basketball, pool, foosball, cornhole, a sauna, a HUGE TV, and cardio machines (for pretending we'd exercise).
