I took my car here because the check engine light was on. Before I brought it in though I took it to auto-zone to read the code. It was a misfire needed spark plugs and engine coil easy enough right you would think so. I take it in they had to do a diagnostic and called me said the same thing so yes I went ahead and let them do it. This was a bad decision on my end I pick the car up drive it straight home everything seems fine for 4 days. Then boom check engine light back on I take it back they look at it said it was an old code cleared it. Very next day I go to start my car up it's making a loud clucking noise. I drive it immediately back to the shop the guy tells me it's coming from the hybrid side of things the battery and he knows nothing about hybrid cars I have to take it back to the dealership. WHY TRY TO EVEN FIX ON MY CAR TO BEGIN WITH IF YOU KNOW NOTHING ABOUT HYBRID CARS WHEN I FIRST BROUGHT IT IN. I'm completely disappointed dissatisfied and upset I paid $400 dollars to do engine coil and some spark plugs but no who knows what kind of damage this place has caused since they don't even know how to work on a hybrid car but worked on mines. DO NOT GO HERE THEY DON'T KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING BUT WILL NOT TELL YOU THAT!!!!!

I made it to the parking lot of a dealership in town. I parked my car and boat and got a hotel room for the night. The following morning I woke and went over to the dealership that I parked my car at. I talked to the service department and they told me they were too busy and could not even look at my car until the following afternoon. I decided to go on Yelp and look for a different automotive shop. Clarks Auto Sales and Service was my first call and thank goodness. The owner Ted Clark answered the phone. I explained that I was stranded in town since yesterday and needed to get home to my family. He was so understanding of my situation that he said he could push a couple cars back and to bring it right in. His mechanic Mike looked at it right away and told me I needed a new water pump. I said go ahead and put it in. After taking the pump off they told me that it was just a seal on the pump and I did not have to replace the whole thing. I decided to replace the whole pump anyway but they told me my options. I was in and out of there within two hours. While I was waiting, there was a steady stream of locals that just stopped in to exchange some pleasantries and say hello to each other. They were all very nice people and made me feel like one of them. As much as I wanted to get home I really enjoyed my experience at the shop today. I would suggest that if you are ever in the area and in need of car help that you visit Ted and Mike. You will not be disappointed. Great mechanics and even better people. So Thank you guys.
