FAVORITE PLACE HANDS DOWN! went to eat with my mother on Monday. This was my second time there and the service is amazing such an amazing young lady with glasses has a great personality! Also the short Hispanic lady with reddish brownish hair who made my food is such a wonderful women with a great personality. I enjoy eating there. Finally decided to try this place out and boy what a disappointment!!! 1. My wife ordered the Carnitas burrito...well she received a carnitas/shredded beef burrito wrapped in a gooey, rubbery tortilla, and in her lettuce/cheese on the side concoction had chunks if ice. She ate half of it and left the rest. 2. I ordered 2 sopes, 1 chicken and 1 carne asada. The sopes were rubbery, like chewing on a rubber band, and had a hard time cutting it with a knife. The chicken was drenched in water or a so called sauce, which filled your plate once you were able to cut through the rubbery sope. The carne asada, was not carne asada, it was chuck steak. True carne asada does not have cartilage. I guess they were trying to keep the rubbery idea going. 3. SERVICE - the waitress never came back to check on us or ask for if we needed anything else. Instead she was yapping away with the cook. Maybe why the food was so poor, she was not able to focus since she was too busy listening to the waitress. I called them out on the supposedly carnitas burrito and the cook said, no it was all pork. I told them pork is a white meat and beef is a dark meat, big difference. No apologies from either of them. Boy was she eager to take my money though, fastest thing she did during the entire visit. I wouldn't recommend this place at all. read more

Just got home from trying this place for the first time....well both my wife and I will not be returning. First off our order was not right but the girl happily got it right the second time around. As for the food: CARNI ASADA had a real funny taste (old), TACO'S were just ok. Can't say much about the beans and rice ( no flavor ). We should have gone to del taco and saved a bunch of money and had better tasting food. Really disappointed since a lot of reviews on here said it was good. (NOT!) Save your money, don't think they will be open much longer serving this kind of Mexican food...... read more

Visited this place for the first time this weekend, and I was very happy! It's a clean, comfortable place to eat. The food is delicious, and their customer service is awesome. I believe they are family owned, and you can definitely tell. I will definitely be back for the asada chimichanga :D read more

so we decided to try a different Mexican restaurant today and since we all love Mexican food we came here! first off the young lady was really nice and got our order right. we ordered a carne asada burrito and a wet carne asada burrito. I wanted to eat a taco and got one of lenguna. the chili bar was stocked and boy I tell you the chili was great tasting. the taco was terrific. the burritos on the other hand was not! the meat (carne asada) tasted old and was hard. I couldn't cover the meat with enough chili to make it taste different. I ate half of the burrito. my sons also only ate half of theirs. I had to review the restaurant cause I didn't have any signal in there. but let me tell you I had the worst heartburn from the meat! read more

We had a VERY large group, we all ordered individual items, and EVERYTHING was GREAT. The orders were accurate, and quickly delivered to our tables. The food, AMAZING!! Real fresh, authentic Mexican food. The staff was quick, and very friendly, and prices are extremely reasonable. I usually come here for lunch and have their carnitas burrito. The pork is really good and they have a salsa bar that is excellent. Place seems clean and the decor is good with granite counters such. Decided to try this spot again after a not-so good first visit when they first opened up. They are 5 minutes from my house and boy, were we happily surprised! Their printed menu is a bit out of date and everything is pretty much ordered a-la-carte but worth it. I ordered 3 soft tacos:fish, chicken and carne asada, as well a side of rice and beans. Hubby got the carnita burrito. First of all, everything tastes fresh and homemade. I noticed that the food was light and not greasy at all. The fish taco had a large piece of batter fried fish that was crispy on the outside and flaky on the inside. The carne asada was seasoned but a little bit salty, otherwise pretty decent. Chicken taco had shredded dark meat chicken with a lot of taste! All 3 had plenty of meat inside. The rice was ok but the beans were good. If you like refried bean that you can stick a fork in then this is not for you, as it's a bit watery but I loved the home cooked flavor. Hubby's carnita was well seasoned and stuffed to the brim with goodness too. Definitely going to return here when I get a craving for Mexican food!! read more

The quiet atmosphere and good food keeps us coming back. I like that the entire restaurant is clean and so is the women's restroom...super important. I enjoyed my carne asada fries. This was a new one for me and I was pleasantly surprised. My husband ordered jalapeño poppers, carne asada tacos, and a Tecate. All very good. I ordered the wet burrito with hot salsa the last time we were there. Since I'm no stranger to hot foods, I thought this would be okay, but wow, it was really hot. It was so good, but so hot. This place is by my job, tried the Torta De Carne Asada... I must say i was glad it tasted good. The meat was a bit dry but the beans were good. The bread was just the right size and the portion was huge you can probably share it with someone. I had the pozole for lunch i have to say IT WAS GREAT!! And I come from a family of great mexican grandmas and moms cooking... the Pozole is probably THEE BEST i've had in the high desert at a restaurant. They have all the trimmings and i'm going to bring my grandparents for breakfast to try it. read more
