So, we had our first appointment with Dr. Alan Zastrow this week. Very happy with the service. I'm also impressed with the machines they use here. Both my daughter and I were seen back-to-back and we were done within 1 hour. Dr. Zastrow has a very good bedside manner. Easy to talk to, has a sense of humor, etc. Sadly, they no longer take my insurance so this visit was out of pocket, but it was affordable. And for a yearly visit it's not a big deal that I have to pay. I was also impressed that we got his business card which was laminated and on the back they put our info (prescription strength) and when our next appointment will be. Plus, the office is a 5 minute drive from our house. So, we found our new eye doctor for the future.

Making the appointment was so easy, and once I arrived there I was greeted by Dr. Lonsk himself as he was short one assistant that day. I only had to fill out one short form and I was called in shortly afterwards. I didn't have to wait long which I appreciate as I have had less than pleasant experiences in other optometrist office waiting when I have an appointment scheduled. The assistant was very nice and performed tests, I was seen by Dr. Lonsk afterwards. One thing that stood out was that I at no point felt rushed. I ended up needing glasses ( even after lasik surgery) and he was incredible patient in helping me select the right pair and very forthcoming working with my insurance company to let me know which frames were included and which ones would be an additional minimal fee. I walked into Dr. Lonsk's office bummed that I might need glasses after having lasik done, not once but twice at Della Russo Laser Vision. But Dr.Lonsk's warmth and commitment to providing excellent service had me smiling from ear to ear by the end of the visit. I highly recommend Dr. Lonsk!

Through yelp, I found this place and read some positive reviews of Dr. Lee. I made an appointment for myself and two kids and we all had our eyes examined by Dr. Lee. He's friendly and I never felt rushed through our appointments. He made sure to answer all questions and concerns. When our exam is done, we have the choice to get our prescriptions written and head out to another place to shop and shop here directly. Honestly, I knew I needed the Asians fit so I browsed around to see what they have on stocked. It didn't take too long for me to fit 'the one' pair of frame. It was light weight, cute and fits my face perfectly. The best part is the frames are reasonably priced compared to my other Asian fit frame I purchased in north jersey. 20% discounts are given to customers who doesn't have insurance for frames and yes, unfortunately that applies to us. I'm happy with my glasses and so is my son. For my daughter, there were no change in her eyesight exam which is great as she can still wear her existing pair. Their staff is friendly and really try to work with the patients/customers. I have seen them on providing costs effective and solutions if you have any financial concerns.

No one else was in the waiting room yet he seamed extremely rushed. My daughter had red eyes for months. We thought maybe it was allergies or the fact of playing soccer on turf fields. Spare of the moment I figured let's go make sure it isn't something else. Dr Alvarez was extremely rushed. Wouldn't really answer my questions, LOOKED INSIDE HER EYES, and said they were healthy and just gave her some eye drops that just didn't do anything. Two weeks later while on vacation she just couldn't take it anymore so I took her for a second opinion. Turns out she had EYE MITES. Doctor said she must of been like that for months. How does Dr Alvarez not see that ??? She was prescribed medication and within a day she finally had beautiful white eyes again. Needless to say I will not be returning. Between horrible scheduling, feeling rushed all the time and missing something like this ..... No Thank You !!!!

From the beginning I've always been impressed by the quality of care and services rendered by all doctors and staff. The office environment is bright, clean, modern, and inviting. They used to have a Keurig coffee station in the waiting room (before COVID-19). I believe that Dr. Corbin-Simon is the owner which would make this optometry practice a M/WBE. Highly recommend the added services to screen for eye health even though these services are not traditionally covered by insurance. OptoMap ($39) looks at the back of the eye, and iWellness ($39) looks at the layers of the eye. I requested both for a discounted price of $59. I found the optomap reading to be very thorough and illuminating although, but iWellness was not so simple to understand.

She help keep my eyes healthy for almost 20 years and she hasn't aged a bit. When I got married, I had my hubby to go to her office for an exam, she found he had a possible borderline health issue and needed him to go the doctor and yup, the doctor caught it and it was resolved, all due to an eye exam! Dr. Wosk and Dr. Hertz work together, you couldn't ask for a better team. This is personal and private office and they take their time with their exams.

She even took a photo of the inside of my eye which was really neat to see. Also, Dr Wosk is probably one of the nicest people ever. She worked with my schedule and even stuck around late so that I could pick up my contact lenses when I really needed them and couldn't come any other time, and she absolutely didn't need to at all - plus when I got there I was met with a smile. Staff answering the phones/making appointments have always been sweet and efficient. Best eye doctor's office I've ever been to, I'll be terribly sad the day I move and have to find a new one.
