Well my boyfriend went in there & long story short, he felt highly uncomfortable, rudely spoken to, disregarded, and literally laughed at. Out loud. As they looked at the necklace, pointed, looked at him & laughed. How absolutely appalling. I wish he had gotten their names. Because that's absolutely disgusting behavior. The first girl tried to claim it was fake. Another guy looked & said no it's real, just a penny worth & hollow. Basically they tried to say it's not even worth using my necklace in anything at all. He explained the whole point of it is to keep it apart of the ring as our sentimental bit, then at some point my bf mentioned his mother, and they recognized her name as a good frequent customer that hasn't been by lately & all of a sudden their attitudes changed! Asinine! Wild. Now he's getting texted some simple rough drafts of what they could do for the idea of style he gave them & the prices. Appalling honestly. Apparently the owner was the only one to treat my boyfriend somewhat humanely, despite seeming somewhat annoyed with the requests but still professional, probably still wanting the bit of business from him. We'll be checking other jewelers in the area to see what's best, vibes over price.
