She gets so much done in the one hour time period! I worked out so hard and felt amazing during and after class. The only thing I wish is that there were more pilates classes with Keisha! I would love to do this class at least 3 times a week. BEST CLASS OUT THERE! IF you are looking for a tough pilates class, wednesday night at 7 pm with Keisha is for you! A+

After a polite exchange between the two of us that spanned approximately a month, I saw no action being taken so I told her I would need to submit this to small claims court. I had tried Pilates before her and…read moredidn't think much of it, but Shari has 25 years teaching experience and really understands the whole body and how to customize training to what you need. I went to her after knee surgery because I was having trouble rehabbing my knee without aggravating some arthritis, and she has helped me strengthen in ways that don't cause any problems for me. She has the knowledge of a physical therapist and can help with all kinds of physical issues, but she can also kill you (in a good way) as a personal trainer--IF that's what you want. At 43, even as a prior serious athlete, I am stronger and more toned than ever. She is also fun to be around while she's working with you. The physical therapist for my knee had suggested Pilates to me but said, "Pilates is only as good as your instructor." Shari is THE BEST, so if you want to do this, go to her!

This is the studio you need to try asap. The owner, Angela has fantastic energy and enthusiasm…read more I've sampled all the studios locally and while I can't say anything bad about any of the others, this has become my favorite spot in town and elsewhere. Angela has spent time in India and her practice shows it. She uses both the Sanskrit and English names for the poses which I've grown to enjoy. She has awesome musical choices too which I put a high value on. I've also taken classes with Sal, who has a different style than Angela for sure. I've never left his class without laughing. He has a way of not letting you take yoga too seriously. He also has a love of 80's music which I couldn't take from anyone else, but it's great paired with him. I've taken Jess's Yin class too which is super for a relaxed vibe. I encourage everyone to give PYS a shot and perhaps expand your practice in a way that you might not expect.

My partner and I have just completed our online 300 hr teacher training with Angela Quinn at Prana…read moreYoga Shala and we could not recommend it more. As serious practitioners and life long yogis we wanted a training and a community that understood the deeper values inherent in the yoga practice while maintaining a down-to-earth and approachable attitude. Angela embodies that perfectly. She has also attracted a community that embraces the authenticity and knowledge promoting a safe space of deep growth. Her fellow teachers are of the highest echelon while maintaining a humility and inclusivity that are paramount in developing deeper growth with the students. The ease and proficiency with which Angela and her fellows executed this online training was remarkable. I highly recommend any training or perhaps the online yoga classes with Prana Yoga Shala. It will be your new home no matter where in the world you are.

I walked in, nervous and timid, and I was welcomed with open arms. I felt the warmth of the staff from the second I entered the building. The storefront is bright, clean and full of life, (literally because there are plants everywhere). There are 3 different yoga spaces. The smallest is called the cozy studio and can fit about 10-13 comfortably. The main studio can fit up to 32 and they also have a studio upstairs in the loft where they offer Aerial Yoga and YogaBaree classes. The variety and amount of classes is quite impressive. All of the instructors are incredibly experienced and provide more than just the physical practice of yoga. Most instructors include a great deal of the philosophical teachings of yoga that the practice is based on. I fell in love with yoga because of this studio and after practicing for some time, I decided to go through their teacher training program. This was the most valuable and transformative decision I have ever made. I am now a verified 200 hour RYT. Honor Yoga is an amazing company that is growing larger every day and spreading the joy and connection that yoga offers. I highly recommend this studio to all levels. It has been really helpful to have someone push me to do better AND to do do better without getting hurt. I used to have knee problems and could never keep up working out on my own and got discouraged but now it has been 9-10 months and she has helped me keep it up without getting hurt! She teaches me new things when I go and helps me create workouts to do on my own so I only need to go once a week. The prices are awesome ($40 for an hour on your own and $25 per person if you go with someone else or a group), I think it's better than everywhere else around. She makes you feel welcome and at ease from day one, always encouraging, positive, and fun. Basically, it's awesome, and I'm super excited to be getting super buff.
