Beware! I just walked out of the salon and had the most RACIST experience ever! The nail tech Janet was rude from the moment I walked in but I tried to give her the benefit of the doubt. She continued to be rude throughout the service. She was purposely unkind to me. In simple things like asking her to help me with choosing the correct nail color she refused. When I said that I was going to leave if she was going to continue in her behavior, then she finally helped me choose a nail color! Additionally my nails look horrible. Terrible job!!! By far the worst experience I've had at a nail salon, ever. - Pedicure chairs were ancient and barely worked. Felt awful (range of motion was one area of lower back, that's it) and sounded like they were about to die. Missing buttons and had to ask someone to help me turn it on. Even when it was off it was uncomfortable to sit in. - We had an appointment at 1pm and they told us people were coming back in soon (presumably from a lunch break?) and we'd be helped--no one came back. We waited 25 minutes in a pedicure chair with no liner in the bowl. Just sat awkwardly trying not to touch things. - When she removed my acrylics, she tore them off without soaking and barely did anything to prep them. Hurt so bad and tore the bed of my nail. I could've done that at home and saved my $60+. This place needs a lot of work. They clearly haven't invested any money in the experience or their materials (the hot towels looked like cleaning rags). The only enjoyable part was the foot massage. Absolutely NOT worth it. Ok they were empty so I got to pop into a chair right away got my gel pedicure. YAY Carrie the nail tech was super nice NAY They had NO foam spacers to put in between toes. Instead, they used toilet paper. WTH? In my case, it's critical b/c I have a hammer toe. Yessssss eek! My second toe sits on top of big toe so if there's no spacer, the second toe polish messes up the big toe polish. The foam spacers are part of their equipment - not having them unprofessional and super cheap. Overall, this was just an ok salon. read more

I had my pedicure and brought my friend to get one too! I got the 3rd pedicure on the list with the callous remover and hot stone massage. It also came with a sugar scrub. Honestly it was pampering and I came out smelling like citrus. The lady I got was super nice and professional. My pedicure cost was $48 so a little pricey because the callous remover was $10 dollars extra but my feet needed it so bad. It's a nice clean place and very quiet! This place is OK. I went there for the first time last weekend. I moved into the area not long ago and am looking for a new salon near my home. I called and found that they could get me right in. It wasn't crowed for a Sunday. It is clean, but has a kind of old looking atmosphere... not really a super relaxing environment. I went for a gel mani, a pedi, and a brow wax. I started with the brow wax. It was OK. I think she took a bit too much off and she tried to upsell me to do lip and chin. The pedi was pretty good. I chose the regular (least expensive) and she tried to upsell me too by trying to get some kind of callous remover. Also, I didn't like that the spa did not bubble. The end result did look really good. The mani was OK. It was pretty quick. The polish was neatly applied. She tried to upsell me too with some kind of addition that I didn't understand. I didn't like that I told her "not square" and they are relatively square. It was about the same price as other salons in town. I didn't appreciate the constant upsells, but I did like getting in and out quickly. This is not my new place, but I would go in a pinch. read more

I arrived at 5:59p (knowing they close at 7pm) but Tracey accepted me anyway and finished my 7:01p. Service I received: - nail take off - new full set - gel Tracy is very attentive, professional, takes her time and perfects the nails based on your hand shape. I did not have to tell her how to shape them. That was the strangest gel manicure I've had in a long time. This is my second time trying out Polish Pros and I will not be going back. I didn't catch the name of my manicurist, so I can't provide feedback on a specific person, but I felt my gel manicure was done haphazardly. First, when asking which manicure I wanted, she kept pointing to the more expensive ones. When I said I just wanted the regular gel, she would move the menu so my finger would point to the premium packages. I had to say "no" and "just a regular gel manicure please" several times for her to relent. Besides being pushy, she scraped off the previous gel only with the metal tool and barely filed / buffed the nail, leaving an uneven base surface. The gel was applied so unevenly and the polish felt like it didn't have enough time to cure. The "hand massage" at the end was more like an awkward rubbing of glove against skin. I felt uncomfortable and wished I could've spent my money elsewhere. read more

I wish I could give this place less than 1 star. My experience here was vastly different than higher end salons (like Blush Hour Nails & Spa). Let me explain the reasoning below: I came in today so excited to get my nails ready for NYE. I waited 1 hour for them to to do my nails when I was told the wait would 10-15 minutes. They weren't that busy but it was fine, I didn't let this deter me from giving the salon a chance to do my manicure. And this is certainly not the reason why I am upset as I was understanding of the situation. Here is the reason why I was extremely disappointed in their service and quality of the salon. You can tell the difference between cheap salons and salons with qualified technicians, that actually care about the customers' satisfaction. I had acrylics on so when the women finally started helping me, I thought she'd proceed with the proper way of taking my acrylic off. WITHOUT asking for my permission she follows these steps because it's a "short-cut" which I had not asked for to save time: 1) cuts my nails extremely short (I had grown out my real nails very long and wanted to keep them that length) 2) using a fake plastic fingernail tip, does this painful, extremely damaging to the nail bed, process where she would slide/wedge/chip/peck it under the acrylic in between your fake nail and natural nail to physically pry it off. 3) I was in pain every single finger nail, she did not care. 4) pinky starts bleeding, again no apologies. I was left with super short nails, she couldn't even file them because it was hitting my skin. A pinkie that bled. And still charges me $10 for this. Honestly blown away by the rudeness, quality of service and overall professionalism of this place. I know with most nails salons we don't expect top knotch service, however, I'd like to not walk out with a pinkie bleeding and no nails for my NYE plans. I have never had my nails this short and I wasn't planning to do acrylic again, I went in for a simple gel nails. They were uneven and I was in pain so no way was I going to let her do my gel manicure. I really wish I knew this lady's name, but please be aware! Go to blush hour instead (it's worth the drive). read more
