I've been doing nails for almost 35 years. Last year I retired and took another job. The business I built was based on trust honesty, integrity, and always doing the best job that I could and keeping my clients as healthy as possible. I have yet to find an American Nail Tech that I like so I go to Polish Nail Bar to have my pedicure done. There are only a few people in there that I actually want to do my pedicures. And every time I go they're always so full. I can't get in, so to me that means that they're doing a great job. I'm going to the beach this weekend and I really wanted to get my toes done as I haven't had them done in a long time. Instead of going and waiting, I made an appointment I wanted to go at 5:45 but the gentleman asked me if I could come at 5:30 instead, so I said sure. I left work about five minutes early and arrived right on time. The girl that I had requested was sitting with another customer just starting to put her acrylics on. Now mind you I HAVE an appointment and she's just starting on a new set. I sat there from 530 until 6 o'clock. No one spoke to me. No one asked me Anything about anything, absolutely Nothing....that's how I feel about these Types of salons, nothing! I didn't want to wait another 20 minutes for the girl to get done possibly 30 minutes and no one else looked like they were close to being done except for the one woman that I didn't want to do my toes so I left toes not done for the beach, very disappointing. An appointment is an appointment for a reason. I know that they want to make money, but my time is valuable to me. I have my week planned out perfectly so that every night after work, I can get something done so that I can go to the beach. Alas, my toes will not be done and I will not go back to Polish Nail Bar..... Keep your 10% discount and remember with no customer service you will eventually have no customers. read more

i went to Polish for a regular manicure yesterday. The nail technician had me choose a color from a board of nails with the polish colors numbered. The polish color was in a clear box with what I thought might be a top coat. I told her again that I wanted a normal mainicure-not gel. The box looked like a gel package to me. My polish is already CHIPPING on several nails and I could probably scrape the polish off without too much effort. I think she used OLD POLISH. Maybe trying to get rid of it. Not sure but I have never had polish chip within 24 hours!!! BE AWARE or bring your own polish. read more

If I could give 0 stars if I would. I had a terrible experience there about a year ago. I left with my hands cut up and bleeding plus they just did a terrible job. They refused to do anything to make it right and were very rude. Fast forward to today. My daughter went there to get her nails done as a treat for herself. ( I think she got acrylics) The "tech" rushed to get her out the door. Her nails are bumpy and look like they have a weeks worth of growth. They refused to do anything to make it right and she ended up paying full price. I noticed on Google reviews that many of them seem fake; especially one in particular that has a mans name and picture but is clearly a woman's hands. DO NOT go to this place!! read more

This was the absolute worst experience I've ever had getting my nails done. The nail tech Lena was very rude and impatient. She completely disregarded my request and pretty much did what she wanted and told me she would charge more if I wanted her to change it. It was just an overall rush job and my nails look horrible. I went to this nail salon a few months ago. And I left regretting going. I got sns with tips in a short coffin shape. The lady rushed, cut my skin twice, wasn't in the shape I wanted. And the colors were not what I showed her from the swatches. I tried telling her I didn't want the color choices and I didn't like the shape but she ignored me. There wasn't any conversation at all so maybe she didn't understand what I was saying? I don't remember the advertised cost of it, but I paid $60. I personally believe 2 SNS nail colors, with short tips & coffin shaped is not worth $60. Ohhhh & since my nails needed sit she said, she got the money out of my wallet and gave herself a $10 tip. Overpriced and not worth it. I took my daughter here for her 10th birthday. I have never been anywhere that didn't offer options for pedicures. They didn't even ask so I assume they do a one size fits all pedi. I told them I wanted a child's pedi for my daughter. They charged me $30 for hers and $40 for mine. They didn't trim my cuticles or around my toes at all. Barely used the callous stone, and no massage at all. Most basic pedicure I have ever had. read more

At first I thought my pedicure was ok but the awful manicure blinded me from what my feet looked like. I'm sure a lot of people say they aren't picky, if which I am not hard to please. I asked for a new set with coffin shaped nails. The nail tech got done filing the first hand and each nail was a different shape and completely uneven. I asked her to just file them more to even them out, but she decided to unglue the nails and start over. I was ok with that, but once again they were AWFUL so the male nail tech over and said they can not do what I wanted and to go somewhere else. My girlfriend and her friend were kicked out because they said that they didn't like the way there nails look. When I went in to ask why, the owner just ran me off. Now my girlfriend has plain white unpainted nails that are splitting, and the owner refuses to fix them or remove them. Not to mention that he cussed them out because his work was sub-par. Very unprofessional and very rude. So I 100% reccomend that you dont go, unless getting cussed out and ran off is your thing. read more

Will be back!! What a wonderful experience. I rarely get pedicures but I'm glad I decided to get one here. Had an appt for 10:00 am and was seated at 9:45 and was out in 15-20 minutes. Very mediocre pedicure. There was no wait time but the pedicure drew out too long, which is something I never thought I'd say. The woman who did the pedicure was so slow and ineffective. My toenails were cut lopsided and the polish wasn't applied in a sharp manner. I had red on the cuticles which weren't trimmed well. The owner, I assume by his demeanor, walked over to the chair while I was in it and turned on the massage feature without a word. I didn't have it on because I didn't want it on. I don't guess he understood that. I won't be back. It was not worth $50 and I don't appreciate the tip prompt when checking out. read more

I like this place alright but it's nothing to go crazy over. I stoped in to have my eyebrows and lip waxed here for the first time and was kinda shocked when I was told my total was $16. I've never been charged that much for an eyebrow and lip wax and had I known the price I would have done it myself. Also as a licensed cosmetologist I know the sanitation procedures for such a service and I will say that it bothered me that she did not wash her hands before hand nor wore gloves and had just got done smoking. My eyebrows do look really nice and I did leave her a tip but I doubt I'll return for future service just due to the fact by the time I tipped and had my brows/lip done I spent a total of $22.00, I felt like I over paid and it wasn't even sanitary. read more

The store has been completely updated, very clean, and the staff is very nice!! They now have curtains between the pedicure station so you don't have to sit near other people! Three weeks ago I visited the salon for the first time and had a pedicure. The technician was rough and had little to say. It was okay. On Saturday, April 30, I booked an appointment for a manicure at 3:00. I arrived 10 minutes ahead of schedule and decided to try SNS. The salon was very busy and several walk-ins were seated. At 3:00 I was asked to a station to choose my color. The only good thing I have to say is, " I like the color." When I put my hands on the station, I felt grit from the last customer's experience. I was not asked to wash my hands before service. Three of my nails needed tips. The tips were sized correctly, however, I picked glue from under my nails for several hours after leaving the salon. The technician was very fast. The filing and shaping part was painful. The solution used to prepare my nails for the powder did not cover the nail. The result is a small trench around each nail revealing unpolished nail on all three sides. My entire experience lasted 45 minutes. I hope to find a salon that is more welcoming, with cordial technicians, that can give me a more natural-looking nail. read more

TERRIBLE. They had young children running all over the place screaming their heads off and playing with the nail equipment while the employees were just laughing about it. I brought my 5 year old with me to get her nails and toes painted so she was sitting in the chair beside her grandmother, to which the older nail tech doing her grandmothers pedicure pushed her and told her to "move." My nail tech did a decent job considering I got a $60 pedicure on my feet, but my mother in law got the organic pedicure and when she was done her feet looked horrid. It looked like the lady (the same one who told my 5 year old to move) didn't even try. She rushed through it, the polish was sloppy and not sharp, and she still had dry skin on the bottom of her feet which looked like it was untouched. When she mentioned it the lady told her she should just take better care of her feet and they wouldn't look like that. After arguing for probably 5 mins they FINALLY agreed to go back over her heels but another lady had to do it because the original lady refused to do it. Don't waste your time here! I have been to this salon a few times and always encountered nice employees. I received the SNS nail system and they did a nice job. I also had a pedicure and that was nice too. Each service was $45 so for a total of $90. Now here is the tricky part, I was sent a coupon for 20% off so I was thinking great that is $18.00, I mentioned this to the gentleman that checked me out and he said the max on that coupon was $5.00. What! That was a bate and switch and I felt as though they had an intent to deceive me. So if you spend $25 you get 20% but if you spend $90 you get 4.5% off. Hmm.... My granddaughter and I noticed this new salon and wanted to check them out. It was opening day! Some delays of getting going due the weather but we were impressed with their warm professional client centered attitude. Everything is new and the decor was bright and cheery! Nail services (each of us enjoyed our mani/pedi) were done with care. They have a new product called SNS for enhanced nails and I love the results! Ask them about it.
