Came in for a pedicure and it was just A typical nail place The girl did a good job with removing the cuticles and working on my nail length. She did I love the way she did my gel polish all the way up to the cuticle. The massage was OK could have been better. It's unfortunate I had to tell her what I wanted and that I needed more pressure. But overall I was happy that their tools were all sterilized and came out of a package. I hope the owner takes my feedback and works on these flaws. read more

This place is hit or miss. I have an amazing experience and than a horrible one. It really depends on who you get. I haven't figured out how to make sure I get a good one Every time I come in. It's literally like scratching a lottery ticket. A majority of the times you lose but occasionally it's worth it and so u come again and get disappointed again. For examples. There are some times that I get a pedicure and it's a long wait; like over an hour. Than the water is cold. When I ask for it to be warmer, it ends up being too hot. Sometimes I get the whole Dealio with the wax or hot rocks and other times it's like the person is lazy. I get that everyone's job is hard sometimes but if I am already waiting an hour, please make up for it. Not to mention I rarely get the time and extra money out of my day to do such things. Nail wise. There's one tech that is beyond amazing that trims my nails and beside them, massages my hand, does a cool design that I ask for and puts great coverage on it. But this last one I had was not such a thing. I not only was approached rudely but she only spoke to her other coworker the whole time in another language. She did not show good attention to detail or massage me. I paid over $25 to get gel nails and I left kind of unhappy. It has been 2 days since I've had my nails done and 1 nail has a sharp edge and two of them chipped already. It's gel nails! Last time I had gels done here it lasted over 2 weeks and look fantastic everyday. I love in Albemarle so I don't want to travel to Charlotte to get luxuries like this to pamper myself but I feel like I should. I want to be satisfied and happy with my choices. Ps for those employees that hate your job there, please find a new job or stay in the back. I will not only write good reviews and send people your way for good work but I will also tip fantastic. If you trying to find a place to get your nails done at, pray first. Hope you get the one or two people that are good. On their prices it says they do designs. So I showed them mine and he said we don't do that. So I asked him what designs they do and he ignored me. So I got a glitter nail, he barely put any glitter... then after drying the edges of my nails looked like serrated knives!! I went and bought a nail buffer and I'm fixing my own nails! Down visiting a relative in Albermerle and needed my nails refilled and 2 broken nails replaced. Someone mentioned Perfect Nails so I decided to go over there. The place itself is nice enough. Clean, good parking etc so no problem there. When I went in a friendly woman sitting in the first seat asked what I needed done and then told me to sit in seat two with a young male technician. As soon as I sat down I said something, can't remember what, but i could tell right away that he didn't speak english and it didn't seem like he spoke even a small amount. At that point I wasn't too bothered by that because lots of nail places have workers that dont speak english. Mind you I prefer an english speaker but I wouldn't post this just because of that. Anyway so first he starts taking off my existing polish and I notice right away he is a bit reckless with the machines they use and he was being a bit rough and it hurt. At first I just sucked it up but then I started to actually wince because he was jabbing me with his fingernails and running the cuticle machine too low so I kept saying OW over and over again. Then when he tried to take off the broken nail I actually stopped him because he basically just tried to rip it off and it hurt like hell. At that point I actually said "Pls stop hurting me" and now the language barrier kicked in because the woman sitting next to him, another worker, said something to him in another language but neither of them acknowledged that I had said anything which I thought was unprofessional. A few minutes go by with a few more jabs on the machines and finally I say "I've had enough. Stop doing my nails. I need someone else to finish". So another worker translates (I guess). No acknowledgement or apology. They tell me to move to the first seat. That woman did a great job. No problems at all and evn though I had sat down in her seat a bit annoyed I ended up giving her a tip because my nails did turn out great after she fixed the problems with the first guy. Fast forward three days. In all the confusion with the first tech, I actually wanted may nails cut down too but he was such a mess I never said it so I went back for a cut down. This time I sat in seat 4 maybe. Young female this time but again no english and this time I got a bit annoyed because I had a specific question, she didn't understand so someone else had to come over and translate and when we started I had to ask her something else and she clearly didn't understand so again we had a translator and I found tha frustrating. My bottom line is I tried twice and I won't go back. Except for the worker in seat one none of them were friendly and even the cut down was crooked and she didnt buff down the edges so I had to do that myself. So they are not friendly and can't speak english and dont do a good job. read more

Me and one of my friends went to get our nails done and there was no line so I asked them how long would it be for us to get our nails done and they said 10 mins. There was probably 7 employees there but only two of them would do nails and some would just be sitting around looking at their phones while there are people waiting to be helped. Long story short, they took 2 hours to do my acrylic and my friend never even got called over to get hers done. People walked in after us and they called one of them over before her. She literally sat there so long she ended up getting polish off the wall and painted them herself Oh and after all of that I didn't even get what I wanted so I came home and had to reshape them myself. Mediocre services with not-so-nice employees. The wait times are also always really long. Last time I went I asked how long the wait would be for a pedicure and they said 5 minutes, and I ended up sitting with my feet in water for over 30 minutes. The ladies also make comments about how the polish color you choose does not look good with your skin or persistently tell you how much you need an eyebrow wax even though you have already declined the offer. read more
