I brought my 2004 Kia Spectra here because I was sent here to have a rear wheel stud replaced after…read morea discount tire shop damaged them. Unfortunately, after the repair I immediately noticed a new repetitive squeaking/grinding noise from the wheel and aggressive vibration when braking at higher speeds. I contacted the shop about the issue and was initially told that it was likely a coincidence and that I would need to make another appointment. I later had the vehicle inspected independently and eventually disassembled the rear brakes for inspection and replacement of the pads and rotors. Once everything was apart, the problem became very clear. The two replacement wheel studs that had been installed were not the correct application/specification for my Kia's hub. Although the thread size worked, the studs were intended for a different vehicle and did not seat properly in the hub. Because they were not sitting flush, the brake rotor could not sit flat against the hub. The rotor visibly wobbled when rotated and was actually contacting/grinding against the brake hardware. One of the brake pads at the affected wheel was also completely worn down to the metal backing plate, while the pads on the opposite rear wheel still had substantial material remaining. I inspected the caliper slide pins during the brake job and they were moving freely. What concerns me most is that the rotor interference was noticeable simply by spinning the rotor by hand. The grinding was obvious, and the vehicle was returned to me without this being caught. The car also was not road-tested afterward, which likely would have revealed the noise and braking vibration. I understand that mistakes can happen during repairs, but I expected the correct application-specific wheel studs to be installed and the work to be checked before the vehicle was returned to me. I ended up having to have a third party diagnose the problem, obtain another inspection, and redo the rear brake work and stud work to fix the issue. I also want to add that during this process the mechanics at this auto shop disconnected my dash cam without my consent, not once was I informed that my camera was disconnected and did not find out until the next day, I'm not sure why the shop would touch my property without permission without obtaining approval first, another issue I had was a foul odor in my car when it was returned. Based on my experience, I would never return here for future repairs.

DO NOT...and I say DO NOT take your car to this guy. I am an 26 year Army who took my 2012 Nissan…read more370z Nismo to Josh while I was visiting my mother in Dayton. The car only need about $5000 worth of work and a spoiler added to the rear trunk. I told Josh to take his time and there was no time limit to get the car back. I returned back to my duty location in Fort Bliss, Texas in El Paso, Texas. It took him 9 months to fix what would take just 4 days to fix. I had to check in with this con artist at least 3 times a month to see where he was at. Each time he would say he is waiting on the parts to come in and he would start on it. So I grew tired of his excuses and I helped to expedite the situation. I bought the parts straight from the dealer to help him when I was in Dayton. I spent money straight out of my pocket so he wouldn't have to have any more excuses. Finally after 4 months and a surprise visit he started on the car. Needless to say he had already installed the after market rear spoiler and it was hideous and atrocious. There was paint runs everywhere and mixed paints. I was livid and he promised to correct them. It would be another 2 months before I could return back to Dayton and still the car wasn't done. The excuse this time was that he was waiting on a radiator to come in. Finally after 8 months I flew in and visited him with yet another surprise I told him to finish up and I was taking the car to the dealership and have it finished out of pocket. He was a little shocked and begged to finish the car. So out of stupidity on my behalf I let him keep the car and I would pick it up in 30 days finished. On the 30th day, I arrived to pick up the car and it was completed but the car looked like it had been completed by a high school teenager. There was over spraying on the engine, even inside of the car which pissed me off beyond words and to top it off the radiator was missing the cap. After all that this clown had the audacity to ask for $2200 for the lousy work he did. I was pissed and paid it and after 30 minutes of walking out of the office I cancelled it through my bank. I then had the car transported to local Nissan dealership. After a day the service manager called me and he laughed because the body shop had never seen such work so shoddy. But here is the highlight of the review. After I took the car to the dealership, they found something in the trunk of the car. They found a bag of marijuana and called the police because of it. Fortunately for me I had never touched the car and they traced the fingerprints back to one of the workers from Josh's auto body that was later fired I assume. Either way I almost lost my car over these worthless clowns and I had to was lucky for the court to throw this out because of my military career. The moral of the story is DO NOT take your car here. If you value your life, money, sanity, and your morals do not take your car here. You will get taken and worse you might lose your car. This guy does business with a lot of drug dealers and they keep him in business. Go somewhere else.

Look NO further!!!…read more In case you don't want to read, here's the summary: AFFORDABLE. FAST. FRIENDLY. PROFESSIONAL. FLAWLESS. -- I called Mr T's shop about a week before I got the windows on my Corolla tinted. I was quoted a very reasonable and fair price for all windows (not the windshield) over the phone. I talked to many different staff members over the phone each time I called to ask various questions. Each was professional, helpful, and friendly. Not to mention knowledgeable of the shop's procedures, pricing, and services. The day before my appointment, Mr T called and asked if I could bring my car in a day early, but I couldn't. They were overbooked. The shop was understanding and didn't try to shift around my appointment or anything like other shops might have. I took my car in at opening time (9 AM) and mentioned the ad on the website. Just a mere 3 hours later, my car was returned to the lot outside in the same condition as I handed it over. The only difference was, now, my beautiful 4 doors and rear window were tinted. Mr T called me and I went in. I initially expected I might have to argue because they would charge me more than the quoted price... however, they rang me up for the *same, affordable* price given over the phone. Mr T. gave me a small instructional paper that told me how to care for my new tint. He asked how I liked my tint, and I told him it was beautiful. He recommended their other services, including remote start which he gave an estimated price for. I'll definitely be going HERE if I decide to have that done. Again, if you want your car to look as stunning as mine, look no further than Mr T's Auto Craft, located conveniently in the heart of Downtown Dayton.
