I was pulled over yesterday by Officer S. Cerda after running a yellow light too late. I pulled…read moreover immediately, had my windows down, and my license ready before he approached. After providing my information, I was asked additional questions about my whereabouts. I was fully cooperative and honest throughout the interaction. I also consented to a search of my vehicle, as I had nothing to hide. Despite that, I was asked to step out, placed on the curb, and treated in a way that felt unnecessarily disrespectful and excessive for a traffic violation. The tone and approach did not match the situation. This experience has changed how I will handle future interactions. Moving forward, I will be more aware of my rights and limit my responses accordingly. All because of officers like Mr Cerda. People like him are what change the public's perception about law enforcement. Never in 15 years of diving and 4 interactions have I been treated in that way , with no provocation at all. Remove your Badge Mr Cerda, and your god complex won't serve you justice anymore, asshole.

We weren't asking for 504 accommodations, but he received intervention in the form of the resource officer who asked him a leading question after my son would not admit to suicidal ideation, "if you wanted to kill yourself how would you do it?" The boy's flaw was not depression but people-pleasing, so the resource officer drove him off-campus to the children's hospital before leaving me a voicemail. When the emergency room called for insurance information, they wanted to know why he wasn't brought in by a crisis action team or an ambulance.

Almost looks like a historic mission lol We just moved the the city of Fullerton, so I wanted to get acquainted with where things are. So, I stopped by here to see where it was located. They were helpful.

I don't think driving a police car to the end of the line with sirens on to disperse customers was a service to the local community unless you only care about local sales tax yields. Kogi tacos were not the kind of emergency that required four police cruisers with their strobe lights on, yelling at cars parked on the street. We were not treated with dignity so I'll try my best not to shop in your city again.

I have a great group of police officers in my city that will try their very best. No obviously don't want to bother them too much but still, they are very helpful. Calling 911 should never feel like you're inconveniencing the person whose literal job is to help…read morepeople in emergencies, but that's exactly how this call felt. The La Habra operator who answered my call was shockingly rude, impatient, and completely lacking any empathy. Instead of calmly helping someone who had just been in an accident, she sounded irritated and dismissive, as if my emergency was interrupting her day. It's honestly disturbing that someone with that level of attitude is trusted to be the first point of contact for people in crisis. Dispatchers are supposed to bring calm to chaotic situations, not add more stress to someone who is already shaken and scared. If this is the standard of professionalism for La Habra dispatch, that's a serious problem that needs immediate attention.

The lobby was empty and there is a sign to wait for someone to come help since the 911 operators have to answer calls and assist the lobby walk ins. We waited for about 20 minutes. Meanwhile we can hear the conversations and laughter of employees in the room next to the lobby (where the dispatchers are at). That was a bit disappointing since we just needed that release paperwork to get my car. Finally someone came out and asked if we'd been helped. Um no we haven't. So I provided the police report and my DL. 10 minutes later I was handed a paper that literally had my name written on and my DL # and license plate. That's it. That's pretty much the release form lol oh and the signature of the person that handed me the form. We were finally out of there.
