We are having a wonderful experience at Alton Marina AKA Seahorse Ranch Marina in Alton, Illinois!…read moreFrom start to finish, the service was excellent. At the fuel dock, Jackson and Jill went above and beyond--helping with pump-out, rinse-out, and even offering to take our trash. Fuel prices were very reasonable too. The marina office staff were fantastic to deal with. We were a bit uncertain about our timing and length of stay, but they were flexible and accommodating the whole way through. When we pulled into our slip, our neighbors came right out to lend a hand with docking, which gave the whole place a welcoming, community feel. The facilities are clean and well-kept, with a laundry room (two washers and two dryers at just $1 each!), a beautiful pool area, and a casual snack bar that's perfect for breakfast or lunch. The covered slips feel secure, and the location is excellent--right next to the Alton Amphitheater, where there were live events going on during our visit. Another big plus is convenience: Enterprise picked us up right at the marina for a rental car, which made exploring the area simple. All in all, Seahorse Marina is a gem on the river. Great service, friendly atmosphere, and everything you need for a comfortable stay. We'll definitely be back! Thanks, Jan & Mike, Kwiat Nights III

We used this harbor to take the jet ski out and brought it in…read more It costs $10 to use the dock ramp. Open between March and October, the man who owns the place lives actually on site at the harbor. He will collect your money and there is free parking available on site as well. I don't recommend trying to sit/stand under the shade where he is or else he will jump your ass for it. I won't make that mistake again of asking... who cares if it is 99 degrees outside, right? ... There are a couple of patio tables and chair you can sit at, but it is open to the sun right beside the main building. - Refreshments are for sale such as simple things like chips and bottled water. - Easy access ramp and fully concreted. No gravel accept for the road driving up to it. Happy jet skiing, everyone!

One of the owners was the person I was speaking with. We were very impressed at how pleasant everyone there was throughout the repair process that we thought we would give them a quick look for a new tritoon we were considering. There was a boat show in the area the day we scheduled our appointment with Todd (we had to do our due diligence, as this was new territory to us). Todd was very personable and professional, making us feel at home. They had a nice selection of new pontoons inside their facility, which was nice since it was raining that day. We were able to strike a deal with Todd and decided to keep the business local. We were told the boat would take 8-10 weeks to come in, since it was a new build with the options we wanted. I got a call from Todd about 5 weeks later saying it was in! The problem was that our boat lift wasn't ready for the new configuration, and the lift company couldn't get out for another 1-2 weeks. Todd and the good folks over at Lewis agreed to keep the boat on their lot until it was ready, which helped us out considerably with coordination efforts (at no charge, by the way). In short, I would highly recommend this company. They won us over with the service department initially, but ended up impressing us even more with their sales staff and process. We will definitely look to these guys if/when my wife gives me the green light for that bass boat ; )

They delivered my new boat to my dock and gave an on water instruction on the boat's features and break in instructions. They are always available to answer further questions by phone.
