It was not functional because it was installed wrong, as I later learned through my own research with Honeywell. There was absolutely no need for the $320 upgrade David proposed, and his proposing that was a profound insult! Blocking my phone was utterly unprofessional! There was no need to charge me for a service call by someone who didn't even know the easy fix that the competent and helpful tech at Honeywell advised me to do over the phone. And Homepatible's intransigence continued even knowing this was a health-related problem due to severe allergies and wanting to filter the air in our home. Ron arrived on time and provided us with an overview of what the thermostat installation was going to be, (I explained to him the issue of not having heat in the house). He told us that he would inspect the furnace prior to starting work as it's what he always did. He was thorough in the inspection, using a scope to view the heat exchanges and he noticed that they were cracked. He showed me and seemed genuinely interested in making sure that I understood that the problem was bigger than a thermostat. He reminded me of my home warranty and stated that replacing it may be covered and encouraged me to reach out to them, even if he wasn't the contractor for the job. He left that day, not charging me anything because according to him, he didn't do the job, just an inspection. The home warranty contractor came, spent less than 5 minutes inspecting the furnace. I chose to work with Ron and Emily at Accurate because they seemed much more trustworthy, and I was right. I was able to contact them to book my furnace replacement, they worked with me giving me information every step of the way. He was professional and punctual and I can't speak highly enough. Replacing a furnace is not fun, but they made it less painful than it could have been. I am happy that we decided to go with Accurate Heating. Now my home is cozy, and my smart thermostat is set up. I highly recommend Accurate Heating.

Frankie came to confirm the ducts were not the foil tubes. He was able to do the job the next week. And showed me how the cooling part of the system worked. The other companies were charging 80 per duct and would not clean the floor ducts. Frankie cleaned and sanitized our 7 overhead and 12 floor ducts and cleaned out the furnace area and filter for $785.00. I truly thank them, our breathing is better now.

I called J R Barton Heating, Air Conditioning, Sheet Metal for sheetmetal work at my residence, they seemed interested and took down my contact information, telling me the job would be quoted time and material and I was placed on their "wait list." Three weeks go by and I called back to inquire about my position on the "wait list" only to be told my job was mis placed, and never placed on the schedule, but I would be added to the front of the "wait list." Serval more weeks go by and I call back only to be told this time they are swamped with work and are not able to provide a time line at this point. Reading other reviews this seems to be a common practice at JR Barto Heating possibly cherry picking the more desirable jobs and leaving the others hanging indefinitely.

After refusing to pay it they sent the "unpaid debt" to a collections agency. Since when can a business charge someone without their consent? 3.
