And the check came in pretty quickly after they brought out the food. Either way, it was reasonably priced and service was good. Plus the place is clean, and the sushi was pretty good! However, around 8:45pm, while we were still eating, the mop bucket was dragged across the restaurant and they started cleaning the floors. For the last 10 minutes of our dinner, we were eating with a strong Pine-Sol-like smell in the air. Then the music in the kitchen was turned up quite loud. Nothing against enjoying some music while cleaning for closing, but it probably would have been nice to wait until all the customers had left.

And my taste are different differently different than others. There was something off about the kimchi... It just didn't taste like what I'm used to, but I mean that could be a restaurant thing. I was also thrown off by the macaroni salad. It also had no flavor. I really enjoyed the bean sprouts and wanted to get another serving but was told it was a sample serving and that they don't do more than that. I could pay two dollars m Overall, I think my biggest issue was that a lot of the food was much sweeter than I expected. I was especially surprised by the grilled shrimp because I never imagined it would taste that sweet. I'm not going to lie, I still ate everything because I paid for it and didn't want to waste the food. The highlight of the meal was the Love Boat sushi roll that they light on fire. Visually, it was really impressive and made for a fun presentation. Taste wise, though, it was just an average sushi roll. I couldn't tell that the fire added anything to the flavor. I didn't notice any smokiness or anything that elevated the dish, and I honestly think it would have tasted the same without the fire. For what I paid, I don't think the meal was worth it, so I probably wouldn't come back just for myself. That said, I can see why other people might enjoy it. I did really like the jalapeño on the sushi roll because it added a nice kick, so I would order that again. This is also one of the few times I've had Thai iced tea that was simply too sweet for my taste.
