i love this place!! I go here a lot and I took my father with me recently, he loved it as well…read more Their thai tea tastes so good and their food tastes so fresh. My dad got a bowl and I got a burrito and we also ordered gyoza. im not a fan of dumplings, gyoza, etc but these were so so good id eat them every day. The people there are always so sweet; service is amazing, and the place itself is so pretty. (clean and soft ambience)

I saw Poke Bowl Sushi Burrito & Boba while driving home one day after a doctor's appointment. I…read morehadn't tried poke before but something about the signage made me want to stop. I guess it had to be the long title. So many food choices in one name. Whatever it was the next time I had a chance I would order takeout from there. So last night I did exactly that. Not having poke before I didn't know what to get. I quickly studied the online menu and decide to create my own poke bowl. I did the 2 protein option and went with fried chicken and shrimp. I added a variety of vegetables which included red cabbage, red onion, corn, edamame, cucumber, and sushi rice. To top it off I got an order of fried gyoza. They look exactly like potstickers. Spoiler alert. They are potstickers. I had to look it up. After I called my order in it didn't take long to get a notification that my food was ready. I went to pick up my food. There weren't many people in the restaurant when I got there around 7. I had no indication whether Poke Bowl was a popular spot or not but I hoped I was pleased with the meal. The car ride home usually gives me some sense of what I might experience when eating my food. Of course, I'm talking about the aroma of a freshly prepared meal. But as I learned a little before I wrote this, that wasn't going to happen here. Poke is a meal usually presented cold and uses raw meat for the majority of the dishes like sushi. Anyway, let's get to the meal. The gyoza and poke bowl delicious. As I looked at my bowl I could see the fried chicken but not the shrimp. I also didn't see the poke spices or eel sauce that ordered with my meal. Did they forget those details? No, they did not. The shrimp, spices, and eel sauce were under the top layer of the bowl mixed in with the sushi rice. I have to say the bowl was delicious but it was even more delicious when my food was mixed all together. When the rice, meat, sauce, and vegetables met the taste was at a peak. As for the the fried gyoza it was delicious as well. These potstickers are by the best I've tried. And the sauce was excellent as well. I give Poke Bowl Sushi Burrito & Boba 5 stars. I had no real expectation of what the food would taste like. It made me want to go back to try another meal. That's what a great restaurant is supposed to do.

Again, not a fan of dives whatsoever; do not misconstrue, this is not* a dive dining destination. It is however, in a strip mall type venue yes, on Airport Blvd.. Promptly greeted when I entered, I was thankfully seated in a booth; for me, unless dining with a few plus people, eating at a standard table does not offer the same privacy I enjoy. A very kind gentleman took my beverage order in no time. Of note: this venue offers soft drinks, yea, bobas, brief list of beer, and whatever the 'house' wine selection is ( also a short offering). After an appropriate amount of time to prepare them, my piping hot baked chef's special rolls arrived via quiet, swift, & accurate 'train' delivery. Smooth execution. ( Ordered the Auburn & Hurricane rolls) They were both huge at ten, thickly sliced pieces each, plus the kani & crayfish toppings. Very filing at a very fair price point mind you. Rolls are indeed customizable; let your server know your particulars. The only improvements I would make are the addition of fresh* wasabi; I emulsified all of my portion into approximately 2 tbls. of soy. There was no...spice, no tingle of sinuses being pleasantly breached which invariably creates a reason for those dining, to watch the effect unfold on one's' face. I believe that it would justify a price bump upward if the 'shredded kani & crayfish topping' were made in a traditional 'volcano roll topping'. This would be both elements, & finely chopped shrimp, combined with just enough baked cream cheese and sriracha spiced mayo, combined & then baked to a somewhat homogeneous mixture, topping any roll. Currently, HS 'spicy mayo' is actually more reminiscent of yum yum sauce; it is sadly sweet, sans any heat. ( I'm not a fan of hot spice; I gladly pass over even a jalapeño. ) Unless HS is already using Qewpie ( Japanese mayo), the alleged spicy mayo definitely needs some bit of sriracha added to all of it. Definitely worth exploration of a variety of dishes at a very reasonable price point, I encourage anyone to visit. Service was excellent, not rushed, & entirely polite. I happened to very much enjoy a downtempo smooth jazz aural experience as well. Thank you Happy Sushi!
