Over the last year, we've seen them make updates to the interior and menu, including adding some great sake options. I love love the sushi specials but wish they switched them up monthly again. We've tried enough of the menu that we don't stray from our favorites, so we love seeing when there's something new. Great for groups, there's a private dining area. We tend to avoid peak times, though, because they get busy with online orders and customers on hot dining nights! The lunch bento box is also an awesome deal and they do a great job with the tempura. I really could go on, we really enjoy our meals here. There is also a great non-sushi menu for those who don't want fish. While we have found things that aren't for us, we haven't had anything *bad* here.

I really enjoyed the twist on the typical walnut shrimp dish. I liked the fried shrimp in the bang bang dish best. My only gripe about that dish was that there was not enough sauce. The shrimp in the Thai basil dish was small and I would not get that again. The miso soup was on the salty side for us but it is a generous portion. The shrimp tempura roll was good and comes with 5 larger pieces. Overall, I enjoyed the food here and think that they do a really nice job with take-out.
