100/10 This is hands down one of my favorite poke spots! They have so many options, and you can build your bowl exactly how you like it. I always order a side of rice, and they'll even let you sample the proteins before you decide. Don't skip the drinks either--they have so many unique options to choose from. My only wish is that they had indoor seating, but honestly, I don't even mind eating it in my car because it's that good. I eat here at least once a week (sometimes more), and I highly recommend checking it out . Service and ambiance is always great !

Went to thr one in Hendersonprior but this one is even better because it by LVAC. It was busy but not bad, they are very efficient and friendly. Always a great variety and you csn try different types of fish. I got the original Hawaiian ahi which was delicious. My fiancé got the Volcano something and devoures it. I got a loaf of Banana bread, oh my gosh that was so good! Moist and not an overpowering banana flavor. It reminded me of my grandma's banana bread. Love the pickled onion and ginger. Can't wait to go back.

~ BEST POKE!! ~ Credits: I'm from socal & I've been to hawaii, so I have ate a lot of poke. Their ahi is so soft! You barely need to chew! A fast food joint with fast service! Inside have snacks and canned drinks you can buy!

This spot is officially my fave poke spot in vegas. I love the variety of choices they have, the family vibes, and the poke tastes fresh and has really great flavor options. I didn't realize how not all poke places are created until I tried a few other spots, and this place doesn't have the fishy smell. My top faves are the Lava flow, which has a slight spicy mayo flavor, and it's one of their best seller for a reason. A couple others are delicious. And their scoops of rice you can buy is also a solid deal. Just a note, it's not sushi rice and just plain, unflavored rice. I came back 2 days in a row after eating here cuz it's just that good. It'll be my go to spot whenever I'm craving poke from now.

The salmon poke was my absolute favorite. I don't remember the names of the poke we ordered but I absolutely loved the salmon one, which had a creamy sauce. The tuna had a nice texture but the sauce was too salty. The cucumbers were surprisingly tasty and complemented the poke well, but not necessarily an item I feel compelled to order at every chance to visit. The rice was a little bit dry but overall, I was satisfied with my first time trying Poke Express in Vegas.

My favorite poke place ever (even over HI) because the fish in their recipes are so flavorful. They also give samples from what I remember. I also love that the shop is hopefully owned by local kine. This is the r second location I've been to after Stephane and I like that there's more space. Line moves quick as well. Workers are helpful and friendly.

YESSSS ITS A YESS COME AND GET EMMMM my favorite was the pau hana and wasabi Pau Hana is kinda like a memory of a California roll esque in the best way and the wasabi was not overwhelming it was perfect amount of wasabi 10/10 will come back again

This is the best poke shop in Las Vegas! The fish is so fresh and their sauce combinations are perfect. My favorite thing to order is the furikake salmon, spicy mayo scallop, and spicy level flow ahi. Unfortunately we came an hour before closing and they were out of salmon for the day. Recently tried the hamachi and it's delicious! If I am feeling like balling out, I would get the hamachi. The one-ton chips are the perfect side to resemble a poke nacho dish. The service is fast, there's usually 2 people that take your order and 1 cashier. There's a lot of Hawaiian love here. The ambiance is like a seafood market. They sell each flavor of fish by the pound.

First and foremost, we've been going to the OG location on Craig Rd since the beginning, and all I can say is they've been the most consistent Poke spot that I can remember. So many selection, always onolicious! Service is on point, quick and no frills! Since we live on the west side of town, and frequent the Flamingo location now, but do miss the Maki Sushi from the OG location! Always, always support locals!

This is my favorite place for poke. Everything is by the pound, and there's a great variety of different fish and flavors. It's never not busy. Sometimes the line is shortl and sometimes there's a line to the door, but never out the door. They're properly staffed and efficient, so there's never too long of a wait. Other than poke, this place also carries other Hawaiian specialties such as shortbread cookies, chips, nori, and other delicacies in their freezers. I really like their salmon with ponzu sauce, ahi with chili oil, and spicy avocado ahi. I've tried other flavors, but those three are my faves.

LOVE getting poke here! my friends that are from hawaii/been to hawaii says that it's comparable to food land. you can sample if you'd like. recommend going earlier in the day because they do sell out sometimes. however there is a menu that you get items made to order. employees are always so nice and welcoming. will always make the drive when i'm craving. top favs are in my photos!

Not Foodland. But this is good
    Marisca S.

I love how they display their poke, it reminds me of how Foodland does it. I ordered 1 lb of the spicy ahi, and it was so ONO! The ahi was incredibly fresh with no fishy smell at all, and the texture was firm, buttery, and perfect. This is a must place to eat when in LV.

They can make a bunch of them fresh to make them gluten free. My friend asked and they were super helpful in doing that at multiple of their locations. It just may take a bit longer than your average visit as they are making it fresh for you.

The oxtail soup was really good: the broth seemed like it has a good amount of shoyu in it (it was dark), and had really nice beef flavor. There were also some shiitake mushrooms, which added to the umami, and fresh cilantro which, paired with the grated ginger, really complemented the savory elements. The oxtails were super tender and plentiful. The meat was well seasoned and fell off the bone. I've eaten a lot of oxtail soup, and this was really good. The limu poke was also solid. The limu was a nice touch: it's not as frequent to see it on the mainland, and I like the smoky flavor it imparts on the poke. The taro turnover was a revelation. It was so good it didn't make it to photos. The pastry crust was flakey, the taro was warm and sweet, and the Carmel drizzle was really nice. It does take 20 minutes to get the turnover, but I think it's worth it.

After taking baby to an appointment and running a couple errands, I saw Poke Express just across from FedEx and was obviously tempted lol So I went in and ordered my old usual favorite--furikake ahi tuna with rice and a side of the seaweed salad. And let me tell you... wow! So dang good (as usual). But something just hit the spot even more this time around. Maybe it was just that I haven't had this dish in about a year now! And the other thing being that I wasn't able to have rice due to gestational diabetes during pregnancy since it spiked my blood sugar. Anyway, this place is as tasty as it's always been! As for service? It was fine. I feel like it just depends on who's working the counter whenever you visit. Sometimes they are super nice, sometimes not (but I've never had someone be rude or mean). I was visibly angry and telling them to get away from me, yet no member of the staff stopped to ask what had happened or whether I was okay. Everyone simply kept things moving. I understand that the restaurant is not responsible for the behavior of every person who walks through its doors. But it is responsible for managing its space and paying attention when a customer is being harassed or assaulted directly in front of staff. Please improve how you manage the pickup/line area and train employees to recognize when something is clearly wrong. If you see two men unnecessarily crowding a woman who is by herself while she is loudly confronting them, take 30 seconds to ask, "Are you okay?" I shouldn't have been sexually assaulted while picking up lunch and then left feeling as though nobody in the room cared enough to even ask what happened.

Grindz 2 Da Max has these plate lunches plus some other local foods like spam musubi, andagi (Okinawan deep fried donut), and Nomz candy. While I love their meat jun (thin beef slices coated in egg wash and pan-fried to a golden color),my favorite item to get is their loco moco. The basics of a local moco is a hamburger patty placed on top of a bed of rice, which is then covered by brown gravy and topped off with a fried egg. While basic in concept, it tastes so good together. What makes Grindz 2 Da Max's special, in my opinion, is the sauce - they use a gravy that is richer and more flavorful than the average brown sauce. It's so good. I also like getting their fried noodles. While simple, it's a flavor that reminds me of Hawaii, especially with it being topped with tons of pink kamaboko and green onions. The other item I love is their fries. It's the skinny cut fries and I get the extra crispy. To bring it back to little kid days, I will get a side order of teriyaki sauce to dip them in. While the food is great and the ambiance of the restaurant is very reminiscent of Hawaii, I give them 4 stars because the speed of service can be slow especially during rush hours.
