I would never have known this little poké stand was here, if my lazy stepdaughter hadn't found it while poking around online for something to eat. She wasn't able to figure out how to place her order online (something I fault to her laziness, not to the shop or its website), so I was engaged to go and grab the order myself. Locating the shop was a bit of adventure; turns out it is in the bottom floor of an apartment complex on the corner of Glisan and 99th, in a mini, indoor food court-style dining complex with, at present, seemingly only one other operating vendor (a Thai place) next door. It'd be cool to see this place fleshed out a bit more, in the future! I managed to arrive just before a much larger party, and was able to place my stepdaughter's order before becoming buried by the line. The ordering process is simple: an a la carte selection of bases, proteins, toppings and sauce, crafted to your specifications, with all configurations (seemingly) for the same price (sans extras, of course). Once ordered, I only had to wait a matter of a couple minutes, likely since most of the ingredients do not require any on-the-spot cooking; most of the toppings are pre-cooked, or served cold. I can't say for myself how good it was, but my stepdaughter made two meals of it, on top of splitting it with one of my stepsons, and there were no complaints from them, so I am going to chalk this one up as a win for all involved...except for me, since I was the trained monkey that had to go and get it.

Half tuna half salmon Sushi Burrito

This is a cute little hole in the wall food stall. It is like a food court or cafeteria style with other restaurants next to it and a communal eating area. The food itself is really good. The portion size is like 50% bigger than the sushi burritos you can get at Washington Square and much closer to me. So that's lovely. The first time I had it, I got the spicy tuna. It was incredibly spicy and made my lips numb. It's not the usual spicy mayo mixture but like a chili oil base or something. It was good, but it hurt the next time I just got regular half and half. My partner enjoys the spicy salmon which seems to be less spicy than the tuna, maybe. They have fruit inclusions which is nice if you like a sweet and savory combo. 5 overall

Poke Regular Bowl

I had ordered the regular sized poke bowl with salmon and chicken. Everything tasted fresh and the flavors were delicious. I'd recommend anybody to go and try it! The staff were very friendly and kind.

This is in an indoor food court. There is only two restaurants as they are expanding. Food was pretty tasty just A LOT of rice, wish there was more toppings. Guy at the counter was nice and let me sample the sauces.

This is my favorite bowl

I've been coming here for a good while now since it opened and I gotta say it's really good it's underrated. And probably my wife's and I favorite poke spot. I would recommend poke delight.

My partner and I got the grilled bbq chicken and the bbq short ribs + marinated beef. Unfortunately, the deep fried chicken was sold out for the day (we came in about 45 minutes until closing so perhaps our fault). I think because of the time we came in- we got kitchen scraps. The short ribs were 90% fat and 10% actual meat. The macaroni salad was incredibly plain, it needed more seasoning - pepper something because it straight up looked it was pasta with slabbed mayo. I will however give a shot out to their poke because I don't eat seafood nor like it and I did give this a try for the fun of it and it was delicious. Again I think because we came in 40-45 minutes before closing closing the service was not great either. I saw the self service bottles of sauce and when I came back I asked the lady for one and she said she had run out when it was pretty clear she was just cleaning up. Fair- you want to get out of there on time. So I asked the lady for hot sauce and she said it was extra and charged me $1.00 per 2.5oz container which is just diabolical in my opinion- I still paid none the less so it's my dusky for contribution to the fiasco. Overall it was mid, I'm used to much more flavorful food in Los Angeles. Ill give it another go whenever I'm in the area at a different time. Perhaps it was a one off day for them.

The quality of the sushi was really excellent. We've eaten at a few conveyor belt sushi places around town and the fish and rice are never that great, so it's a relief to find a place with sushi fish this good. I got the chirashi bowl, which for $18.99 is a great deal. There was 3-4 pieces of salmon, 3-4 of excellent tuna, a couple of seared tuna, a shrimp, 2 pieces of eel, and a wad of spicy tuna and a dollop of fish eggs. The rice was really good too. The serving size wasn't huge, but it was enough. My wife got the salmon bowl and it was less food - an appetizer would have helped. We will be back! Very good quality, nice people.

I will add that even though the fish quality is not fresh omakase quality, it's still not bad for the price they offered. This restaurant shines more with their hot/cooked rice bowls than their raw fish options in my opinion. Services were quick, which is a great stop for lunch.

Donburi Factory - Tight space. Tables seat two and you can squeeze three but I'm sure that won't meet fire code.
