Was craving some fresh seafood and came across this on UberEats. Was hesitant since a lot of the reviews on there is misleading so decided to check it out on Yelp. Not a lot of reviews but the food is incredible. Everything felt so fresh, not overly salty. They said they're generous with their portion, but I can disagree there, hence the 4 star. In Portland, so far, this is the only place that I came across that has fresh seafood. Will probably have to see what else is around!

If you want poke that taste like it does in Hawaii go here. They sell by the pound and taste delicious. They also have poke with limu spam musicians and different butter mochi. You also can get a poki bowl with fresh rice. I been wanting to find somewhere that sells by pound and taste like home and found it!!! Love service A + and great vibe

Best Poke in Portland, hands down. The fish is so so good and you can try samples. Seriously, OG Poke is just better than every other place around. The biggest size for $24 feeds two hungry humans (with a couple musubis). There's a mini heater full of spam musubi. The krab broccoli salad is so money. The kimchee cucumber is a textural blessing. I can't wait to come back. The service was counter and super friendly. There are a few small tables in the restaurant. PSU students are lucky to be so close to great foods.

We stopped at this spot and it was very easy to share a poke bowl. This restaurant has an interesting vibe going on and there was a weird smell inside but the food was pretty solid.

Was searching for Hawaiian spots in Portland, and though there were a few popular ones recommended, we happened to stumble upon this hidden gem -- and I mean literally hidden. Let me tell you, parking was surprisingly easy! They've got a small lot right next to the restaurant. It's tucked away on a one-way street (like most of Portland), so it's easy to miss -- but don't make that mistake... turn that ass around! Service was super friendly and straight to the point. The musubi was sitting warm in a heating tray -- fire. Only thing missing was a little sprinkle of furikake. Music was pleasant, the vibe was chill, and it was perfect -- nice and cool inside, not stuffy at all despite it being a small space. & the star of the show -- the fish. Super fresh, thick cuts, and generously portioned. The marinades were flavorful and distinct -- we got ginger, shoyu, and spicy aioli. Each one was seasoned beautifully and balanced. None were overpowering or repetitive; every flavor had its own identity but still blended well together in a single bite. The tako (octopus) was tender and immaculate. The mac salad was okay -- texture was good, but mid at best. And that Mochi Butter Cake? So good. If you're Filipino, it'll remind you of cassava cake but with a soft, chewy sapin-sapin texture. Definitely a must-try if you like mochi-style desserts. Wish y'all were in LA -- this place was delicious, fresh, and spot on. Well done, OG Poke!

A cute little shop under an apartment building that you could easily walk right past, this place unassuming spot is full of nice people whipping up easily the best tasting hawaiian poke in portland! I've been back multiple times and definitely reccomend the teri-ginger tuna poke, but with an awesome selection of fresh fish and rotating daily specials, you really can't miss!

Hawaiian style poke. Lots of marinated fish to choose from with spicy or creamy sides. I was stoked to hear about this place because none of the poke places in Portland have marinated poke, just a sauce as you like it, which means it doesn't have time to get flavored with the marinade. The inside has Hawaiian music playing and is clean, fresh, and even has a few tables to sit and eat. They also have a cooler with Hawaiian sun drinks and some Hawaiian snacks to purchase. The people are super nice and helpful if you have questions about what the ingredients are in each dish. I got the spicy aioli and the teri ginger with double rice and a side. The fish is FRESH as it can be, great texture on the ahi and really nicely flavored marinades. It was onolicious! 10/10 recommend if you want to feel like you're back home in Hawaii or just want a small reminder of what it's like there.

10/10 pokes! Unique flavors, all fresh. Our favorites were the Teri Ginger and Avo Furi. But honestly they're all great. I enjoyed getting a bunch of quarter pounds to try. Their sides are also delicious. Generous scoops for the bowls. Grab a bowl and have a picnic in the park block on a sunny day!

OG Poke is a cute first-story restaurant. It's small inside but nicely decorated. I ordered the Medium size Poke Bowl for $20. It was a very delicious meal and a fair price given the 2 scoops of Poke. The spicy avocado was my favorite! I thought the rice was tasty and the edamame was a good side. Both flavors of Poke were delicious! I will absolutely return. Our server was nice and helpful. She was the only one working on a late Monday afternoon and did a great job balancing it

This place is the best! Guy working there was super nice and such a vibe. The whole establishment was such a Awsome vibe going on with sweet music and flags on the walls. The sizes are huge and the fish was so flavorful with tones of rices to top it off. Even in Oregon you can still taste the islands. Would definitely recommend!

Medium poke bowl with two kinds of tuna poke. Pleasantly surprised by the crab broccoli salad.

No nonsense poke shop that has really friendly staff, very Aloha spirit. The options are good. I tried the furikake poke that was well seasoned. But the taegu poke, which was a daily special, had chewy tuna for some reason. Still, it's a decent poke bowl and I was surprised by the crab broccoli salad, was very enjoyable and something I've never had in Hawaii. Unlike other poke spots in town, you only get one side along with rice, but overall this is a decent option when craving poke.

Excellent flavors, poke cube sizes on point, just like home (foodland, IYKYK). My tummy is smiling ear to ear right now with pure satisfaction and excitement for my future visits! Now this place is bomb! Go support your local 808 fam and try their poke out. Service was so friendly and they also give out samples to try (again, like foodland). Order by the lb, or get a poke bowl with rice and a side. Place is quaint, with welcoming island jams, and some seating if you wanna enjoy it there. Mahalo OG poke fam! Finally a place I can confidently say tastes like home. No need go back

Laura C.

Many different kinds of poke to choose from. Personally I like my poke bowls to have a lot of toppings which they don't really do here. With the medium bowl you get 2 scoops of poke & only 1 side. Sides includes Mac salad. Broccoli slaw salad, seaweed salad, or edamame. Also they could use some tap water, which they don't have.

My partner and I got the grilled bbq chicken and the bbq short ribs + marinated beef. Unfortunately, the deep fried chicken was sold out for the day (we came in about 45 minutes until closing so perhaps our fault). I think because of the time we came in- we got kitchen scraps. The short ribs were 90% fat and 10% actual meat. The macaroni salad was incredibly plain, it needed more seasoning - pepper something because it straight up looked it was pasta with slabbed mayo. I will however give a shot out to their poke because I don't eat seafood nor like it and I did give this a try for the fun of it and it was delicious. Again I think because we came in 40-45 minutes before closing closing the service was not great either. I saw the self service bottles of sauce and when I came back I asked the lady for one and she said she had run out when it was pretty clear she was just cleaning up. Fair- you want to get out of there on time. So I asked the lady for hot sauce and she said it was extra and charged me $1.00 per 2.5oz container which is just diabolical in my opinion- I still paid none the less so it's my dusky for contribution to the fiasco. Overall it was mid, I'm used to much more flavorful food in Los Angeles. Ill give it another go whenever I'm in the area at a different time. Perhaps it was a one off day for them.

But today, I had the time to swing by and fortunately he was open, but SOLD OUT. Fortunately, he had a few things left over. So I said yes to a mix plate. Nolan's Hawaii accent is still thick it made me feel like I was back home on the west side for a second (!!!!thank you!!!!) I met some people outside the food stand, a business man from Hawaii and some California people I mistaken were from Hawaii as well, lol. It was an awesome interaction, from the moment I got there I got greeted by strangers waiting for food, to going up to the window and asking "so what? No more nuttin left?" Nolan's response was "Nah I only get mochicko chicken and kalua, you likem?" Haha that was a definite yes! Won't miss out on home food esp if word of mouth was already out there. So I waited a few minutes for my food, and the box was heavy. Haha it felt like when you would eat at your aunty and uncles house and they pack you the party left overs. I opened my plate lunch and I was greeted by a huge portion of chicken, pork rice and Mac salad. And let me tell you, the Mac salad didn't have so much frills like what you would see in a Portland Hawaii food joint. It was sauced, and seasoned. PERFECT! No need for all the extra add ons. As I started eating, let me say that kalua pork was no joke so moist and easy to eat not even close to dried out. The chicken tasted nice and crispy with just enough marinate and fluff. I haven't found this anywhere in Oregon..until here. Yeah sure there's a poke and katsu bar in the shopping center next door... but I take the random food cart in the parking lot any day over something franchised

Laulau, chicken long rice...CHICKEN LONG RICE! I haven't had that in years and suddenly my mouth was watering. My dining companion was taking in the meat jun on the menu, as well as the fried rice omelette. We went in and ordered the chicken adobo fried rice omelette and chicken long rice on the side. Double starch, double chicken, check. Loved that the menu pointed out they serve koshihikari rice. I knew I was in good hands. No medium grain rice for this gal. The service was friendly, the food came out in a reasonable amount of time. There was a nice note on the wall saying the table would be bussed by staff, so we didn't have to play the guessing game of "search for the bus bins." Clean tables, bright light from the windows, good food. The adobo gravy on the omelette was winnahs. The omelette itself was not holding a candle to Elena's Food Truck, but tasty and filling. The chicken long rice was perfect. The only improvement would have been a nice hit of white pepper, maybe. The only thing not quite to my liking was the mac salad, but that didn't stop us from mopping our plates clean. We will be back for everything else on the menu.
