Yum! This was my very first experience at a Poke Bros restaurant, but it won't be my last. My kids described it as "sushi in a bowl," which was a compliment, of course. This restaurant is a "Chipotle style" order from the counter type of restaurant with tons of options, side items, and toppings. (Or if you are feeling trusting or uninspired, just order one of the classic bowls which are also delicious.) How to order: Walk the line, order your bowl as you go, pay at the end of the counter, find a seat, and enjoy! Whether you like real sushi, or you are a wanna-be sushi lover like me (one who likes California rolls because it's sushi without the raw fish), either way this place is sure to please! *FYI - there is a Blueberry Frog restaurant next door where you should most definitely go for dessert! read more

Liked the one in Simpsonville so much decided to try the one in Easley today. This one is closer to my house which is a good thing. A little smaller space than the other one but same basic set up. SUPER FRIENDLY STAFF!! Told me about the spicy items to make sure I was good with it. Asked me twice while eating it everything was good. They really wanted to make sure I enjoyed my bowl. Again, got the Duke. Creature of habit I guess. Did use brown rice instead of sushi rice this time. Really liked the rice also added chopped cashews to finish my bowl. Food was super tasty and fresh. Despite my biases of chain restaurants, and my general tendency to not review known chains, I can't help but post about this new business because I think it is simply fantastic. The food tastes fresh and they don't skimp on the toppings, though I can only speak for this location. They are friendly and if it's your first time will be happy to walk you through how they work. Good news is that if you make your own bowl and have no idea what you're doing, everything goes really well with everything else! Their house marinated tuna is the best, though. Their menu is exactly the same as other Poké Bros. you can choose from white, brown or sushi rice. There is also a salad mix. All of these bases can be mixed & matched with each other. Most add-ins are free except for masago, crab meat, seaweed salad, avocado. They have a variety of protein; salmon, tuna, spicy salmon, spicy tuna, squid salad, chicken, shrimp, etc. There is not a drink fountain at this location. You can get drinks in bottles. read more

Very disappointed. ;( I've been going to poke bros since they opened. From Greenville to Easley. The last two times I went to Easley i feel ripped off. Today will be my last time. :( For three bowls I was charged 58.32. There was even a charge of custom amount for 5.00. When asked to explain they said "you got so many extra" And was informed an Asian guy (Mr. Chin?) took over management. Well, your lunch for one adult and two kids is a RIP OFF now. This is the third time I've been here and I guess third ones a charm. First two times it was alright, but wow this third time was amazing. It might be because they have sushi rice now and the first two times they only had white or brown rice. The sushi rice makes all the difference. The salmon we got was fresh and the veggies went great with everything. What I also learned is to stay simple and don't add too many toppings like you would at subway. We stayed simple with cucumber, ginger, green onions, masago, and avocado. The seaweed salad was also good. We'll be back. read more

This used to be my favorite poke place a year ago I just returned back today and it was very disappointed they don't even fill the bowl up with food for paying $13 to expect a decent amount of food and the lady behind the counter is so unfriendly she's just rushing it through to take your money. I would skip this location and I would suggest checking out the poke Brothers in Simpsonville over there you will get very good service and a complete filling meal (they won't skimp on the quantity) read more

First time to any of Poke Bros locations. All I can say is "Amazing"! This place is very clean, and the quality of the food was great. I ordered one of their signature bowls (The Shaka) and it was fantastic. I didn't feel adventurous enough to do a "build your own bowl" on my first visit. I played it safe, and i'm glad I did. This place is a much needed addition to the Easley area. There are so many fast food unhealthy places that it's a relief to have this place to come to if you want a well rounded, healthy alternative other than a salad! You can pick your base-brown rice or steamed white rice, and then pick all your toppings and goodies to go on it--from meat/seafood options to all types of fresh veggies! You also get to choose a sauce at the end to give it that yummy flavor that just makes the whole thing so tasty! I highly recommend! It may seem slightly intimidating upon your first visit, but the staff are very helpful in helping you out! Check this place out if you're in Easley! Little bitty place maybe 5 tables. Very clean and very friendly staff. I was worried the food would be super fishy but it wasn't. All of the proteins were very fresh as well as the vegetables. I wouldn't try adding so many ingredients. Pick a standard bowl off the wall and tweak it how you might want to but don't go over board. Will definitely make this a regular. read more

I LOVE this place!! Since discovering that we have a Poke Bros in Easley, it has become my favorite restaurant. I've basically only ever gotten the Johnny Utah, but I usually stick with what I know will be good. The food is amazing and I've always gotten stellar service every time I go in. The only downside is that there is no option to tip the staff. No debit/credit card option and I've even tried to give cash but they don't accept it. If Management sees this, please start allowing your patrons to tip for awesome service. Your employees deserve to be rewarded for all they do :) read more

It's different than a "normal" sushi place. Definitely worth a try. There is not that much seating and they don't serve sodas like a normal restaurant. The idea I ordered was spicy, and I only had a bottle of water to help with that. If they had a soda fountain with water i would come back. read more
