I was a little hesitant when I saw the size of the small bowl but it was surprisingly filling and flavorful. I built my own bowl with half/half white rice and mixed greens. Small bowl comes with the option of 1 protein, I decided to get Salmon. It didn't have a weird fishy after taste , and I was happy with quality. They have a decent variety of sauces, fish and toppings. I really enjoyed how my salmon poke bowl came together . The restaurant has other options like Ramen on the menu that I didn't have a chance to try. The restaurant is in the center of a shopping center with plenty of parking. Clean esthetic with good service. My only complaint would be the portion size but I'd still return for more. I just ate it and I'm already craving another bowl. read more

This may sound. A little cliched, but... this place is really good! I've been every month for a few years, I know the staff, they are friendly and accommodating. The food is always about the same - which is nice since it is always fresh and full of flavor! We always get poke bowls with sushi rice. The protein selections are great , the toppings are plentiful and full of flavor. Extra seaweed salad, thank you. Double kimchi, of course. Extra finishing sauce, you don't say. I came across this lovely fast casual poke/noodle spot during my lunch break. It's very much a step up from the Chipotles of the world with a clean, well decorated environment and friendly employees. I went with the triple protein poke bowl with jumbo shrimp, spicy tuna, and salmon. It was not cheap ($17+) but it was a veritable feast. And delicious. The toppings make the bowl and you can find everything from seaweed salad to mango. It was an impressive selection. I will definitely come back next time I'm in Owings Mills! read more

They have signature menu options however, you're able to create your own dish. I'm super picky and like to add, remove, add some more to my food so I opted for creating my own. Pokebowl was a great experience and delivered on the title concept quite well. Staff at Pokebowl will help you out if you are overwhelmed (some of my co-workers were) and even suggest a good sauce for certain things. My favorites here were tuna with spicy mayo, chicken tempura with the house sauce, and eel with eel sauce. I always got the avocado even though it's extra...it was worth it because you get a whole damn half of an avacado. When you make your own bowl or soup or burrito you have A LOT of choices ... I really wanted to like this place but the food was disappointing. We were greeted as soon as we walked in and everyone that worked there was nice. I went for the build your own noodle bowl. The beef broth tasted like water. There was no flavor to it at all. They seemed very disorganized and unsure of how to prepare the bowl which held up the line. The beef was like rubber and impossible to eat. They added chicken to my bowl which I didn't ask for. My significant other got the tofu which tasted stale and rubbery too. The only good part was the serving size. It was massive and I could only eat half the bowl. We're not hard to please but if this restaurant wants to keep their spot at foundry row they need to improve their food. They already have the nice staff but the food needs to be good. Although sushi burritos have been on the scene for a few years, it's nice to have them in town! The restaurant had a nice lunch crowd but I was still able to get my food pretty quickly. The custom burrito I got was packed well and even though I didn't get to eat it until about 45 minutes later, it was still flavorful and the ingredients maintained their integrity.
