Our food was prepared, and my bf got up to retrieve our dishes, but they told him to have a seat and they will deliver it to us. They even brought us each a cup of water. When we left, the woman noticed I was taking the rest home and proactively offered a bag for me despite having other customers at the order area. It's the little things that make the biggest difference. If you want to go out and spend money, this small business 100% deserves it. Food is good and so is the service. Establishment is clean and well-organized. The ambience is chill and relaxing with soft music playing in the background. It's become a rarity to see small businesses like this. 10/10 would recommend. I wished for melt-in-my-mouth. I got sinew. It won't mess you up like the Titan, but it's still a disaster. Delamination does not belong in anything sea related. It was insulting. The Japanese care about the freshness and quality of ingredients. Us Cantonese as well, shutting down the government panel when they try to tell us that frozen frog is as good as fresh. What [redacted] did you do? Ugh. If I wrote this review in Cantonese, I would get into so much trouble, not because the owners can read it, but because it would be laced with so much profanity. Seeing the changing of the trains coincide with the nose dive, I feel like a PhD candidate studying the collective intersectionality of modern orientalism. I'll take the cheesy shamisen tones over this. Other parts of my life have taught me that Loyalty written in stone is prone to abuse. I loved this place. This was disappointing.
