I love the aloha!! It's the only place we will go for…read moreChinese food, but the last few times that we got the chicken fingers, taste like they're old, they're really tough. You can't even bite them off. It looks like there's perfectly cut chicken inside and I think that's the problem. I would love to see them go back to the way they used to be , nice and tender. Thank you, Cathy Corcoran

When we called to let them know we didn't receive fried rice, we were told that this was their version of fried rice and that they don't add soy sauce or hoisin sauce. Instead, we were told they simply heat white rice in the wok. What was most disappointing was the response. Rather than apologizing or offering to correct the order, we were told that we "should have known" this is how they make it. This is especially frustrating since we've ordered from them many times in the past and their fried rice was always made with sauces and had the expected flavor and color. Authentic fried rice is cooked with sauces that give it both taste and color, so this explanation didn't sit right with us. After being a near-weekly customer, this experience was enough to lose us. We won't be ordering again--especially now that a new Chinese restaurant has opened in Manchester.

There are a handful of pre-made bowls (small or large) as well as a make your own option using white/brown rice or quinoa as a base. Your protein options are varied (I am partial to tuna or salmon) and there are sooooo many things you can add (edamame, cucumbers, radish, etc) it is hard not to overfill the bowl. Let's not forget toppings, either... from crunchy onions to nori flakes there is something for everyone. You can get delivery via some of the apps (such as GrubHub), but I would recommend either going in yourself to pick it it up or enjoying it there. It is small, yet pleasant and modern, and service is always with a smile. I'd be there 7 days a week if I didn't want to overdo it on mercury.

She went over their ingredients with me. She explained how to order to me gave me plenty of options to choose from. She was very friendly and professionally dressed. The price for two regular size bowls, one with fish and one with chicken or $30 which I found to be reasonable. The meal probably could've been split into two, but I ate it as a whole and it was very filling very fresh and good tasting just the right amount of each ingredient. Nothing tasted as if it had been sitting. It tasted very fresh. The cucumbers were crispy as well as the radish. I really enjoyed my experience here There is plenty of seating there is plenty of parking

This place looked ready to open back in spring, but the pandemic delayed their opening. For food, they offer Chinese, Japanese, and Thai cuisine plus sushi and bento boxes. Most dishes are priced in the $8.95 to $19.95 range. Chinese & Japanese (bento boxes) Lunch Specials are offered until 3PM, priced $8.95 to $12 range. I stopped by for late evening takeout recently and picked up an order of Chicken Pad Thai ($10.95 plus tax), which was ready in 10 minutes. The portion of Pad Thai was good, which had a mix of red & green peppers, onions, sprouts, egg, ground peanuts, tender soft slices of boneless chicken, lime and soft cooked noodles, which had a slightly sweet flavor and a wet texture, but not overdone. I plan to return to Golden Karma for lunch takeout very soon to try out their Chinese food and bento boxes.

That settled it; we had to try it. Out of sheer excitement or exhaustion, we forgot to make a reservation. I quickly remembered this mistake as we entered Hooked. People filled every table and seat at the bar. I looked at my bestie with great concern because we were anticipating our first meal of the day. The hostess welcomed us warmly, and then she asked the dreadful question, "Do y'all have a reservation?" We sadly said no, and she immediately began to express regret. Maybe it was the "Grad2026" headband or the disappointment on our faces that caused her to have pity on us because she told us to wait one second. The hostess walked to the bar, then she went to the main seating area, lastly she went next door where there's additional seating. She returned with a smile and motioned for us to follow her. The hostess found us seats at the bar! We ordered, chatted with the locals, and ate a delicious meal. We even made room for dessert which we learned was made by the owner, the hostess! Whenever we visit New Hampshire again, we're definitely stopping by Hooked!

Well I keep trying to like this place but the food and service is not consistently good. When we…read moreorder delivery or take-out, it is always a gamble if the order is going to be correct or if the order is going to be arriving Hot. When it arrives both hot and correct, this is a pretty good local pizza place to order from. But I have had enough flops that it is not worth gambling taste buds or money, any more, at least until I have gotten over this recent poor experience. Examples: 1. A pasta dish that was LOADED with diced tomatoes after I ordered and said, "NO TOMATOES", for a kid that will eat tomato sauce but NOT tomatoes (I don't know why) They could not just be picked out of the dish. No garlic bread with the order and there was something else wrong but I can't remember what. 2. A pizza with mushrooms and extra cheese, to which they added onions. (again, kids and no to onions!) 3. Seasoned fries when they were suppose to be regular. (THEY DO HAVE GREAT FRIES but the kids wouldn't eat them seasoned.) 4. Missing sides that are suppose to come with the order. (that just pisses me off because you pay for the dinner and do not get it) 5. The wrong sides with the order. ( I do not want your potato salad or your cole slaw when I say GARDEN SALAD) And then tonight, the last straw: 6. I placed a simple order @ approx. 4:10pm. Was told it would arrive in 30 minutes. When 45 has elapsed, I called and was told it was on it's way. The driver gets here, I check the order. The dinner is missing a side. The driver said sorry. I asked what took so long. The driver said he started work at 5pm and as soon as he walked through the door, they pushed our order at him to get delivered because there wasn't another driver.. The Fries and Burger were cold, as was the BLT. I can eat a cold BLT, but fries and a burger cannot be enjoyed when they are COLD, by me or by my kids. And to make it worse, we are barely 3 minutes away so I should have driven there to get it but I was tired and hot and just got in from working all day and had a crappy commute. So the 20% gratuity was worth it to me. I was given a credit just once, for the tomato snafu, but that really does not do me any good when the kids are hungry, when I am hungry, and the order is wrong. I still gave the driver his gratuity because it is not his fault and he wasted his gas to get here. But I am going to have to be desperate to order delivery from them again. (like desperate as in they are the only place open, or as in, it is a blinding snow storm and they are the only ones in town still delivering)
