We decided to order the brown sugar boba (but they were out of boba so I got it with coffee jelly). It was SO insanely sweet I could barely drink it and this is coming from a sweet tooth herself. I had to go home and add a whole cup of milk before it became anything consumable. Not to mention that the price was absurd for the size drink you get. You can definitely go to so many other places and get larger sizes for the same price if not cheaper. Don't think I'll be returning for boba ever again. Be careful the cups are SUPER thin!

I ordered a small bowl that comes with two proteins I chose these spicy tuna, as well as the salmon they mix the salmon with all the toppings that I chose instead of drizzling the sauce on top at the end they mix it together. I was a little surprised I did find that the small bowl was pricey it was 11.45 before taxes. When I got home and tried the food it wasn't bad but it wasn't that great and I did find that the salmon was really chewy some parts I couldn't swallow I had to spit out I've never had that experience before at a poke place or a sushi place.

When I left Hawaii in 2013 to live back on the continent, I thought I would never get a chance to eat poke again. I have been pleasantly surprised to find poke bars throughout the US, including here in Georgia, and I'm not even in the big city of Atlanta. Perhaps the local university here in Athens attracts student, staff and faculty with a diverse palette. Regardless, I'm delighted that I can get my poke fix. This restaurant is tucked inside an outdoor mall. You pull up and park your car in front of the store. Across the parking lot is a theater that appears to be open, so this little shop probably still gets quite a bit of business despite Covid. There are a lot of choices on the menu. In addition to poke, you can get mochi, boboa tea, mochi, and a variety of other treats. I opted for my usual poke bowl with tuna and spicy tuna accompanied by sides of crab and seaweed salad. Toppings vary slightly from each restaurant I have been too, but some standards do exist like white onion, green onion, cilantro, cucumber, ginger, avocado, etc. They offer several sauces. Initially, I didn't see eel on the list, but it was written in as an afterthought in the corner and the server confirmed it was available. That and spicy mayo was all I needed to give my meal the flavor I love. Yay! There were a few places to sit and eat inside, but I took one of the two tables out front. Even though this store was not crowded with people, it was getting consistent customers coming and going. Unfortunately, plenty of young people were out and about walking on the sidewalk out front without a mask. It made me uncomfortable, especially since one young girl was yelling quite loudly. Thankfully they passed by quickly. I'm not sure the staff inside clear the tables on a regular basis, so I placed my trash in a nearby mall trash can. I'm so happy this poke bar is here. My poke bowl and lavender tea with tapioca balls left me full and content.

Don't just walk by this small business. Walk in! Spotless interior. Definitely COVID safe for both customer and employees. The employees were very patient explaining how it works. I did not feel rushed and my questions were answered. A "small" portion was big enough for 1 Very filling dinner. 2 choices of poke. I did the spicy tuna. A bit spicy in the first bite but smooth after that. 2 salad choices as well. Marinated cucumbers and seaweed salad... then toppings. More vegetables and then brown rice. Can't forget the ginger and tobiko. I saw the sign for lavender tea... Got an iced one and I could not have been happier. Definitely a spot to go to anytime I am in Athens.

My Taro Milk Tea with tapioca tasted watery and not good. I could have made something better at home if I wanted to waste $6.21 good thing I didn't tip for this drink. I had my family in the car so I didn't have time to go in and complain. But I won't be returning that's for sure.

I would eat here every day if I had the opportunity. Maybe even three meals a day. The food is always delicious and the staff is super friendly. They even have a Pikachu hanging out inside in his Bulldog attire.

Kuyas Food Express in Duluth City Farmers Market…read more I finally tried this Filipino food stall after seeing so many recommendations, and here's everything I ordered. Sizzling Sisig Comes with chopped pork, sour-style dressing, sunny side up egg, and rice. Best part is letting it sit longer on the hot plate so the pork gets slightly crispy and more flavorful. Adding extra lemon really enhances the taste. Only downside, the rice stayed too long on the plate and became a bit too hard to chew. Tokwa't Baboy Crispy pork with fried tofu in a sour soy-fish sauce. The pork was a bit fatty for my preference, but the crispy skin was really good. The fried tofu was the highlight, it soaked up the sauce and was super flavorful in every bite. Halo Halo Ube ice cream, flan, shaved ice, condensed milk, and mixed fruits like banana and sweet potato. Very refreshing and sweet. The flan was amazing, just wish the portion was bigger.

The service was probably the fastest I've had at a sushi/hibachi restaurant as well. After sushi, I had the hibachi sirloin and chicken, which was delicious. The steak was cooked perfectly and the quality of the chicken was great. The restaurant is not overly big, but it has a really nice relaxing vibe inside that makes for an enjoyable meal.
