Going to Aulani at Skin Studio was, honest to God, the greatest decision I ever made. I've…read morestruggled with acne, acne scars, and hyperpigmentation, for half my life. I had tried everything, Accutane, Proactive, Gentle Washes, Facials, Drinking Only Water, Cut Dairy; nothing worked. My dermatologists constantly would tell me "sorry, it's just something you'll have to grow out of, maybe when you're 30", it was the worst. I wanted to be one of those girls that posted no make up pictures, girls who didn't spend an hour on make up, girls that worry about one pimple instead of expecting at least 5 every morning. The dermatologists were wrong. Aulani and microneedling made becoming confident in my skin with no make up possible, she really freaking did. I recommend Aulani and microneedling with her to literally everyone I know because she changed my life. My skin is the clearest and softest it's been since I was in middle school!! Don't believe? Check out the pictures for yourself. Her and her service... just incredible, seriously miracle workers. A million times over again, if you have ANY skin struggles, go to Aulani and Skin Studio!!!!

I got asked to be a filler model at an education event at The Westin in June . My injector being…read moreJennifer (she does Botox on me in the past and a smidge of filler). This particular day I signed on for full face filler. I'm going to be 49 and wanted to embrace the process. I'm a Mom who works at her kids school and of course puts everyone's needs before her own so in normal day to day life, I tend to spend more on my kids than myself. With that being said there is no one else I would trust to inject and certainly not after learning and listening to all of the education! When you're a model you get to hang out all day and basically take the class with them, until they are ready to inject. I'm not naive to the injecting process (I've worked in the spa industry, dermatology offices etc) but I was naive to what injectors have to know!!!!!!! I'll admit I'm the girl in her 20s etc that would buy the Groupon to save money. With age usually comes wisdom.. and the wisdom I gained in this experience about how much thought you should give to your injector was mind blowing. To hear, all of the things they have to consider, know, have knowledge in?? To take this artery, this vein, this bone structure etc into consideration. Inject with your patients eyes open (to stay in contact with them) because if there is any vision changes you have 45 mins to restore vision if vision is lost...... It scared me. But scared me in a way where I also felt comfort. Knowing I was in Jennifer's chair and the trust I have in her. I felt compelled to write a lengthy review on how everyone should give serious thought to who is behind the needle or cannula. There are many things that could go wrong and you should question the integrity of your provider, their knowledge and the products they use. In today's world it's a fact that people "cut corners". Do you want an injector who "cuts corners" or do you want the best? The best being Jennifer and I'm sure the knowledge she passes on to her team! It's a no brainer for me

She is an amazing injector and has done different areas of my face over the years (lips, cheeks, tear troughs, and chin) as well as different neuromodulators and I couldn't recommend her enough. She is so gentle, thorough, and practical. She really listens to you and gives you an in depth assessment to help you reach your goals. She delivers natural results and you will never look "overdone."A huge benefit of Institute of Aesthetics is that all of the other injectors have been trained by her so you know anyone you see will do an amazing job. Thanks to her and her team I always leave feeling and looking my best.

I have been seeing her regularly for almost 6 months and she makes me feel like there is finally hope for clear skin! As a guest she makes me feel comfortable, as well as informed about what treatments she does. She understands how your skin and acne works and explains each step of the treatment (ex: this opens up pores or this helps with hyper-pigmentation). What's even more amazing is how she will change the treatments based on how your body is reacting, or what current problem there is. It is not the same treatment over and over, rather she recognizes that the treatments may need to be modified, depending on how your react to them. Her knowledge is apparent through everything she does and she is the best aesthetician I have ever been treated by. Improving your skin takes time (think of all the years of damage you put it through before) but Christalyne will provide you with quality treatment, appointment after appointment and it is truly an investment in yourself.
