Pointe has been reliable and polite and technically very capable. We had a problem with field mice coming into the house over the winter, and Eric came out and placed bait boxes inside and along the house foundation perimeter. He came back periodically to check the boxes for activity. We saw only one indoor mouse since. This one was obviously poisoned already and was easily disposed of. We have had none since. We called Pointe again this Jan-Feb because of an invasion of ants in our kitchen and crawl space. Again Eric arrived, accompanied by Aaron and Evan. All three were very knowledgeable and eager to handle our problem . They analyzed our particular issues, walked the foundation perimeter and crawl space and treated with multiple products. They promised to return in a week to re-check (which Eric did!). I recommend Pointe Pest Control and Eric very highly. read more

I called Pointe Pest Control because a neighbor recommended them. I called on Monday afternoon when I realized that we had wasps which were dive bombing us and generally making us uncomfortable about being on our deck and in our yard. The technician, Jose, was at our home the following morning to do the initial spray and pest control. He found pests in places we had not even thought to check. By the time he left, we were feeling much more comfortable about our property, and he made sure to tell us that the next time he came would be in about 30 days to treat again. We are pleased to know that we should be free of wasps and spiders and a long list of other pests beginning now. We have signed up for a one-year contract and are hopeful the rest of the year will be handled as positively. It should be worth the price. We'll see. cjam read more

I have a mixed flock of chickens and ducks. Along with copious eggs, I sometimes get copious rodents. I called Point Pest to set bait stations around my property and they shared with me a maintenance plan option which was a large chunk of change to start but a very reasonable quarterly amount thereafter. All I have to do is call them anytime I see any pest activity; ants, spiders, wasps, mice, rats, chupacabras, (ok, they don't actually treat for chupacabras) and they send a technician right out within just a few days and take care of my issue at no additional cost. It is awesome! I also love that all the technicians are very careful about closing the gate so that my little dogs don't get out. after discovering a wasp's nest by being swarmed and stung, I called the first service I saw. I explained to the scheduler that I needed someone asap, or Id need to figure out how to handle the nest myself (it was right by the door, so I couldn't dodge the nest for a long time). the scheduler called Wenatchee's office and they squeezed me in. And here's what I really appreciated: he explained to me how to tackle the nest myself if I had to and be as safe as possible. Wenatchee did squeeze me in--and when John came, he found an additional nest and treated it too. John also took time to listen to my concerns and share his knowledge about how to identify wasps and hornets from a distance (I have kids and grow flowers in my garden so we have lots of flying pollinators). i was very satisfied. read more

I originally met with Mikal to evaluate what I needed and to discuss my concerns regarding what chemical is used, and if it was safe for my indoor rabbits. He explained the services, and answered all my questions. Scheduling was quick and convenient. Jose M. was the technician that did the pest treatment. He was prompt and professional. He allowed me to show him where my biggest concern was for spider activity in my basement, and then did a thorough job in the basement and exterior of my house. When he was finished he explained what was done, and let me know that if any concerns arose in the main part of the house, that they could return and do the upstairs baseboards for free as a part of my service, otherwise he let me know when to expect the next treatment. read more

R Ron wolfe is the most knowledgeable inspector/terminator I have ever had come do my home. He took the time to listen to what I had right say and went above and beyond what I had asked informing me of the reasons why this or that was happening. He knew exactly what was attracting what insects and how to sold the problem. He even gave me great insight on the trees in my yard that I would have never known if it was not for him. He really deserves so acknowledgement for his outstanding service techniques, sociable skills and just over all comfortability. We live in an area that has a heavy earwig population, and when the clay soil starts to dry out in the summer they surface. Generally, our regular scheduled spray services work. However, when the temps get 90+ the earwigs "breach" the barrier and are everywhere. We scheduled an extra spray, and Chris H. was assigned. When he showed up for the appointment he verified when our last service was and where we were seeing the activity. Then he suggested where he believed was best to place a second application of spray. Very impressed with our tech today from Pointe. They always work around schedules so we are able to be there and they can spray the interior of our house, as well as exterior.
